((Posted on March 12th, of course))
Amberstar led a small crowd of moorland cats to Fourtrees. Their route was easy, as their camp was so close to Fourtrees anyhow. The moon casted a shimmering glow on the WindClan crowd, and StarClan was reflected in the protective leader's eyes. She could see the silhouettes of the four oak trees in the moonlight, as if the trees were gathering too.
Amberstar thought about the symbolism of Fourtrees; Four Clans, Four Leaders, Four separate destinies. The trees carried a heavy burden on their branches.
WindClan was at Fourtrees, and as the rest of her clan gathered to the side of the great rock, Amberstar gracefully, but powerfully leaped up on to the rock, her figure blending in with the trees.
Then, she waited for the others.
((The ShadowClan and RiverClan leaders were not chosen yet, so just pretend that they exist now. ))

Iceshadow glanced around, staring at the assembled cats. Dovestar flicked her tail and the group of Thunderclan cats followed their leader willingly and loyally down the hill. Iceshadow twitched his whiskers knowing this was the gathering wher his name would be annonced to the other clans as a full warrior. Tonight was a good noght.

Moonpaw was surrounded by other ShadowClan cats. He was going way out of his security zone with tonight's gathering. But, he was convinced that he could see what he was up against in this life.
The apprentice saw his Clan's leader's silhouetted tail signal them to proceed into the Fourtrees. Moonpaw's pelt shown silver in the moon's light. His blue eyes shotting from place to place. The young tom found himself almost hyperventilating with all the other Clan cats.
((OOC: I don't think I can play with Mosseyes right now..))

Owlfeather padded around the clearing, twining in and out from the other cats. Her long tail curled around the others' faces rather annoyingly, and she did this on purpose. It was simply to entertain herself, and she enjoyed it. With her eyes glittering in amusement, she waited patiently for the leaders to come and start the meeting.
Foxclaw padded after her Clan as they poured into Fourtrees. Her fur bristled at the sight of so many other cats from other Clans, and her claws unsheathed of their own accord. But this was a Gathering, she reminded herself. Her claws slid back, and she headed over towards a corner of the large space, under some shade and a few trees. She bounded the last few fox-lengths and leaped, hitting the tree with unsheathed claws. She scrambled up a bit until she found the lowest branch, only a fox-length or so above the ground. Satisfied, Foxclaw settled herself into a comfortable crouch above the other cats, and watched them, listening for any Clan secrets from her branch.
Daywing bounded around Fourtrees, searching for cats to speak with. She longed to see friends, and her eyes shone with bright moonlight and excitement. She paused to catch her breath, and glanced around, her head moving from side to side expectantly.

Amberstar watched the other cats gather around. She noticed that the ThunderClan leader was not present. Where was Dovestar?

Darksoul padded slowly into the clearing after her leader, her wary eyes sweeping the clearing. Tail raised high and her large ears pricked, the dark tortoiseshell was reluctant to talk to anyone in particular, although she did like to talk to the other senior warriors of different Clans when she could.
She took a breath, pausing in her slow walk to admire the night. I wonder what will happen tonight, she thought vaguely as she found a spot close to the trees; away from the center of the clearing and everyone else.

Mosseyes slowly came down into the clearing. She tried to hide her limp as well as she could, though she was still in some pain. The brown tabby looked around for a place to sit down. As soon as her green eyes found a spot, the she-cat quickly went to it. The WindClan cat sat down comfortably.

Dovestar led her Clan into the clearing and made her way directly to the Great Rock. She saw Amberstar there, and the gray she-cat nodded politely in greeting. "Greetings, Amberstar. How is the prey running in WindClan?" While waiting for a reply, Dovestar looked around at the other cats. Her warriors were all talking to their friends in other Clans. But, she watched carefully, and didn't see anything that had reason to bother her, so she turned her gaze to the night sky. "StarClan must be pleased tonight," she murmured, half to herself. There was not a cloud in sight.

Amberstar saw ThunderClan emerge into Fourtrees, and relaxed a bit. For some reason, the WindClan leader was always tense when some leaders were not present yet. She liked to be sure that her clan was totally safe from enemy clans on Gathering night. The code has been broken that severely before, and it could have happened again. Amberstar saw Dovestar leap on to rock.
"Greetings, Amberstar. How is the prey running in WindClan?" She heard Dovestar say.
"Prey is running quite well, Thank you." Amberstar replied. Her focus was shifted to the bright moon. The leader of WindClan soaked up the moonlight, and relaxed.

Crowstar prowled forward, his black pelt almost making him invisible. He grinned at Dovestar and Amberstar, as well as a glance at the Riverclan leader. As he made his way to his rock, he signalled his clan to relax; they seemed rather tense. "Evening Dovestar, Amberstar." Crowstar said, bowing his head in respect for the two leaders.

Amberstar nodded low to Crowstar, a half-bow of sorts. "Evening, Crowstar." the WindClan leader said. "And how is the prey running in your clan?"
She stared intently into Crowstar's eyes, her cold eyes piercing the ShadowClan leader's.

Crowstar met Amberstar's cold gaze with a mirrored one, his own blue eyes piercing through her gaze. "Prey is running fine in Shadowclan. We're doing just dandy and wonderful." Crowstar smiled, his smile almost turning into a hard and cold sneer.

Moonpaw was still frozen with fear. Though, he didn't want the other Clans to know a ShadowClan apprentice was afraid of a simple Gathering! The young tom didn't know what to do, this was his first Gathering, so he only knew ShadowClan cats. The silvery cat decided to just observe the other Clan cats and see if he could listen in on any secrets.

OOC: Hope I'm not too late for the Gathering..
An ebony she-cat stood at the ridge of Fourtrees, her pelt only barely visible, while her bright green eyes seemed to glow. Letting out a small sigh, Brightstar looked down at the gathered cats; RiverClan was the last to arrive. She hoped she wasn't too late; this was only her second gathering as a leader, and just wanted to represent her Clan the best she Could.
Brightstar glanced over her shoulder at the rest of her clan, and waved her tail for them to follow. Swiftly but silently, she dove into the clearing and leapt onto the rock with ease. The young leader dipped her head in greeting to the other three leaders, "sorry if I'm late," she wispered as she sat and rested her tail neatly over her paws...
OOC: Kinda short, but I hope it's good enough anyways =3

OOC: Damn my por lil Crowstar is the only male leader =< *hugs him*
Crowstar looked over at Brightstar. "Greetings Brightstar, how is prey running?" He asked, grinning, his tail swishing back and forth. The Shadowclan leader sat down gently, and licked his paw, running it over his head.
~
Stormeyes looked on as the leader's conversed. 'Darn it hurry up and get on with it please...' He thought.
OOC: Muse fail -_-

((OOC: Nope, not late at all. )
Amberstar looked ahead, ignoring Crowstar's dirty little sneer, and turned to Brightstar. "Greetings, Brightstar." She said. The WindClan leader was happy to be talking to a pure soul, rather than a tarnished one like Crowstar's. The moonlight made the leader's eyes sparkle. She decided to start.
"Welcome cats of all clans," Amberstar started, her voice firm and sharp. "To start the gathering, I would like to say that WindClan has been doing fine, considering the harsh leaf-bare we went through. Prey is running again, and thank StarClan we haven't been experiencing any border conflicts. Brightstar, how about you?"

Longfeather found a place to sit, grass brushing up against his haunches. Copper eyes gleaming and ears pricked, he found himself quickly picking up the voice of Amberstar. Oh how he loathed being late for these things; one had no time to talk. Tail curling neatly over his sand-colored paws, he wondered vaguely what his "leader" would say about his new position in the Clan. Quite frankly, the Abyssinian tom was still slightly surprised that he was promoted in the game, but whatever happens you take to advantage, right? Longfeather was pleased to say the least.
xXx
Darksoul let her fluffy tail twitch as Amberstar began to speak. She blinked slowly; the dark tortoiseshell felt oddly out of place amongst cats who didn't notice her being. Lowering her head, she continued to eye the leaders with resentment.

Foxclaw listened from her perch in the tree, and her eyes narrowed at a pair of apprentices beneath her. Neither of them were from her Clan, but she could tell they were still young. And they were mewling in each other's ears, laughing between themselves. "Hush!" she hissed quietly, leaning down enough to cuff both of the kits' ears. "This is a Gathering, not a social event!" One of the cats, a tom, stared at her wide-eyed. The other snorted and flicked his tail for the other to follow him away from Foxclaw.

Brightstar felt a wave of relief sweep over her, and was able to relax a bit, glad that she had made it to the Gathering in time. The RiverClan leader listened patiently as Amberstar spoke, and soon enough, it was her turn to speak. Brightstar took a few moments to take in the sight before her; cats of all different Clans, their faces each with a different expression.
The Ebony she-cat rose her voice as she began to speak, "RiverClan has also been doing fine. The fish in the river have been coming back, and are easier to catch now that the river has thawed. And I am also happy to announce that RiverClan has been blessed with new kits." Warmth and happiness shone in her moonlit eyes. She always loved when new kits were born, and announcing them showed that RiverClan was still running strong. Brightstar glanced over at Dovestar and Crowstar, not sure which leader wanted to speak next..
