Name: Vlek'Tu
Age: 52 Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: None; Loner
Rank: Loner
Description: Vlek'Tu's pelt is a dark orange color. He can be classified as ginger, but his markings are nearly invisible. This eyes are a very strange type. The main color is orange, but it looks are though someone cut out a piece of orange on each eye and replaced it with green. Some would call this a slice.
Vlek'Tu is a massive tom, his body laden with muscles. He is proportionate, not having too small of a head or body. A few of his claws have a ragged edge, the many battles he has participated in has haven it's toll. But, these ragged edges can be better for some things. Blunter is always better, after all.
His jaws hold aged, yellow teeth. Though, a little worn, they still get the job done, still being able to cut off another cat's air supply and lead to their demise.
Personality: Vlek'Tu is well... .... Not so nice. Actually, he is far from. Often, he is selfish, not caring much for others. But, the one thing he does care for is a good fight. The adrenaline running through his veins is refreshing, and makes him feel powerful.
When it comes to other peaceful cats who refuse to fight, only to stay for companionship, he is spectacle. He is always on edge, in case the said cat turns on him. Never very calm. At times he does tolerate the other cat, after three moons of not killing him in his sleep. (But, he sleeps very lightly, so he would probably kill them before they killed him.)
In his opion, she-cats should stay shut up somewhere caring for the kits. Though, his makes him rather sexist, it's just Vlek'Tu's personality. Kits, in his opinion, are the most annoying creatures on this Earth. They are worthless until six moons of age, not being able to fight or hunt. They just take up food and space.
These traits make Vlek'Tu always the forever single tom, but surprisingly, he did have a she-cat in his past... ... But, we'll get to that later.
In battle, he doesn't hold back often. Using everything he's got to make the other cat get message, or die. Any chance he gets, he goes for the killing bite, the best way to rid of scum.
History: Vlek'Tu was born in a place far away from the forest cats. It would take many days to journey there, but you must be fit. The land can be forbidding in leaf-bare, many cats dieing during the dreaded season. But, once comes new-leaf, it becomes the mother land. Plenty of food to go around, for those who have survived the harsh leaf-bare, of course.
The cats in this land are many different things. Some, join together with a few other cats, to make a small protected group. Others live with their mates. And the rest live a solitary life. Vlek'Tu is one of those cats.
He could go on and on about his siblings and his parents, but he can barely remember them. You just simply don't have to and he uses his memory for other things.
One day, while looking for some prey on his part of the land, he ran into a she-cat. He was going to attack her and drive her out, maybe even kill her, but her pleading was too much. It somehow reached his dusty heart. He sent her off on her way and padded to another place. But, the strange she-cat had followed him. He made multiple attempts to rid of her, but nothing seemed to work, and he just simply wasn't in the mood for an easy battle.
The sky soon turned dark and it was time to turn in. He found a fallen tree and made himself comfortable, and the she-cat just followed him!
She stayed by his side for a moon before Vlek'Tu finally gave up. She did stay with him and saw something good deep inside of the tom. She was caring, friendly ,and nice. The complete opposite of Vlek'Tu!
After a few moons, he grew quite fond of her. He didn't exactly show his affection, but she somehow knew, like always. They became mates, though Vlek'Tu didn't always treat her like one. She could still be irritating at times. Ruining the perfect silence by trying to chat about something. It wasn't exactly love, nor lovelorn.
In two moons time, it was leaf-fall, the land's prey starting to grow more and more scarce. And she of course had something to tell Vlek'Tu.
"I'm expecting kits," she mewed to him one day. This came to a shock to the tom, thinking that they were to another father, but she insisted that it was he. Knowing that kits could never be cared for without great sacrifice in leaf-bare, he quickly disowned her. Telling her that she needed to find another place to live, for he despised kits and would never go to all the trouble of hunting for enough food in leaf-bare just to sustain them.
After a few day, she still did not leave. He was about to chase her out the following day, but she mewed something to him first. She told Vlek'Tu that she was going to a place where there was food all seasons. Telling that the rising sun lead to the place. She asked him to go with her, but that would be too much of a commitment for Vlek'Tu. She left that night.
For moons he lead his regular, solitary life. But, one day, his thoughts took over his mind. Surely the kits were born and, for the most part, able now. It had been four moons since she had left, after all.
The next morning, he set off in the direction that the sun rose. Battling many cats for no reason at all on the way there. Just for a little something extra to spice it up. He lost track of the number of days while traveling.
But, one day, he woke up and realized that the place she had spoken of was here. He looked through many barns (another cat had told him the name) before finding her.
She was relaxing in the hay while two young kits play fought near by. When he announced his presence to her, she looked as surprised as if she had just seem a ghost. It was a rather awkward moment for them both. He explained why he was there and she looked like she wanted to rip his fur off. But, instead, she introduced him to his two sons; Brawler and Sparta.
Vlek'Tu carefully watched the kits play fight. Brawler seemed to hold back and be a little more sky. But, Sparta, the bigger of the two, had great potential. It looked as if he was strong and mighty, like Vlek'Tu himself. This gave him an idea.
The tom tried to train Sparta to be just like him, but the kit didn't seem to ever listen. He had too much of his mother's personality to make him like Vlek'Tu. He tried harder and harder to get him to listen, yelling at the kit more than never. But, his mother always stepped in, comforting the kit. That's probably the reason why he never turned out quite right.
One day Sparta wouldn't listen at all. This made Vlek'Tu angry, and that's worse than running into a pack of dogs. The tom hit the kit in his side with unsheathed claws, not even thinking. His mother came rushing to his side. She was furious with Vlek'Tu and threatened him to leave immediately. He said he would only leave if she left the kits when they reached six moons of age. She agreed, doing anything to get the savage tom away from her kits.
Since then, many moons have past. Barely a thought of her or his kits entered his mind. Living a normal life. But, something recently came up... ...
Not too long ago, three cats came to Vlek'Tu, a kit traveling with an older tom and... ... His own son, Sparta. They asked for him to come back with them to the forest. They needed help. Sparta not too forgiving of his father. After a while of frequently asking to the most annoying extent, he finally gave in. Now, traveling back with them to the forest that they spoke of.
