Snap! Nettlepaw had stepped on a twig, which had scared off the mouse she had been hunting. Muttering angrily, Nettlepaw walked on to find more unsuspecting prey. Soon she found a rabbit, a fox tails length away. A rabbit will see you first, a mouse will hear you first. She recited in her head. Nettlepaw had not been training for long, but she wanted to be a warrior already, so she was desperate to prove herself. So far she had done precisely what she was told. Her thoughts snapped back to reality as the rabbit gave one hop towards the grass. She leaped and landed on it's back, knocking it flat. She bit it's neck and killed it. Wont everyone be happy with me! for the rabbit was as large as she was. As she dragged it along, she thought of what everyone would say when they saw her first catch ever!

Hawkstorm padded into Tallpines. The queen was taking a break from her kit duties, and was on a joy walk. She stretched, and fluffed out her fur. She pushed away some ferns, and saw Nettlepaw hunting a rabbit. Rabbits weren't especially common in ThunderClan, so this was a good catch.
"Good catch Nettlepaw." Hawkstorm mewed. "But you should really become faster. You won't be able to catch a half-dead squirrel if you don't become lighter on your feet."

"But isn't it huge?!? I never knew they even came this big!" She mewed in awe. But she still respected Hawkstorm's opion. The thing was: she should keep up her training. Still, she knew she had just started.

Hawkstorm mewed. "They come in bigger sizes than that scrawny thing, let me assure you!" The queen growled. Not exactly the motherly type. "Anyway, that thing is headed right to the elders, let me assure you."

She sure says 'let me assure you' a lot. Nettlepaw thought coldly. But she shrugged it off and resumed draging the rabbit to the elders.

Nettlepaw... Hawkstorm thought. What a nuisance. Or maybe that's just apprentice? Who knows? Certainly not Hawkstorm. She barely remembered anything about her apprenticehood.
((OOC: Lol, it is one of Hawkstorm's favorite things to say! ;D))

Nettlepaw dragged the rabbit off to the elders. She wasted no time on Hawkstorm. She was just a grouch. Or she was having a bad day. So she was off for more hunting.

Hawkstorm saw Nettlepaw drag the rabit off. "Hmph." She said, and sat up straight. "Go hunt on the Thunderpath!" She yelled.
Hawkstorm was know for her charming attitude. She was not the kind, motherly type, and her tongue was always ready to strike back a nasty comment about her.

Dovestar felt the warm wind ruffle her fur and she purred in pleasure. Leaf-bare was finally drawing to a close, and the days were getting warmer. She loved newleaf, it was one of her favorite seasons. Suddenly, the she-cat noticed the scents that the breeze carried with it. Nettlepaw, Hawkstorm, and Snow, she identified with a flick of her tail, and bounded off to join them. The day was too nice to be alone. She slowed, trotting lightly, when Nettlepaw came into view. "Wow, Nettlepaw! Great catch! That rabbit is as big as you are!"
