Featherdance was happy, she was happy that she was happy with Rivertail. It had only been a few days since the Fire, Thunderclan thought she was lost somewhere. She smiled at the thought, forgetting she ever wanted to be deputy.
She looked at Rivertail and smiled. "Rivertail, this is nice. Just you and me. I wonder what it would be like to live like a rouge-" she trailed off.
Her body shurdered and she cried. "Ow!"

Rivertail jumped up and licked Featherdance's ear, "Are you alright?" He eyes scanned her body, and he noticed that she was getting quite round...
A thought crossed his mind, and he murmured, "Featherdance.... I think.... Y-You.. Might..." He slowly turned his head and looked into her eyes, his own reflecting fear and confusion. Rivertail pressed himself again his mate and purred, "Featherdance, I think... You're carrying kits." As he spoke he ran his tail along her side, then pressed his muzzle into her shoulder.

Featherdance was too shocked to Speak. Kits? She could never have let herself have kits?
She looked at her belly and smiled, it was round. She could feel something their... was it love?
Featherdance looked up at Rivertail, happeness reflected her own eyes. "Rivertail! I'm having kit!" She licked her mates ear and purred.

Rivertail wrapped himself around Featherdance, and brushed his tail against her side, "Congratulations, my love." He softly licked her ear and cuddled against her.
A few moments later he stepped away and tenderly purred, "Are you hungry? Thirsty? Do you need anything?" He searched her eyes, suddenly worried that he wasn't going to be able to take care of her on his own. No, I love Featherdance. I will never let anything happen to her, and I will do whatever it takes to take care of her. I will. He looked at his mate again, and felt a feeling of warmth spread through his body.

OOC: You might wanna bring Dawnlight in now. 
Rivertail blinked, "Um, like a herb?" He sighed and shook his head, "I'm not a medicine cat, I wouldn't know what to look for, or where to look."
Maybe I should get Dawnlight, just to come take a look... No, she might tell.... Ugh, I don't know what to do...
Rivertail purred, "I'll do my best." He leaned forward and licked Featherdance's neck, then turned and trotted away. He lifted his nose to the air and murmured to himself, "I'm never going to find any herbs..."

Rivertail raised his head and breathed in the gentle breeze as it danced through the forest. He caught a strange but familiar scent, it smelled like Riverclan. His ears pricked, another cat? I can't let them find Featherdance!
He sprinted toward the scent, weaving between the trees. Suddenly a creature came into vision, he leaned and skidded to a stop, just missing the cat. Rivertail whirled around and instantly recognized Dawnlight. For a moment he was afraid, but then his fur stood and he loudly purred.
"Dawnlight! You're here!" His eyes glowed with happiness, then he remembered that there might be other cats around. He crouched in the tall grass and murmured, "I need your help. Can you keep a secret?"

A light flashed in Rivertail's eyes, and he sighed, "I... I can't explain that to you now...." He gazed into Dawnlight's eyes, "But please, you have to come with me." His eyes were pleading and full of worry, "And... I'm just going to tell you now.. The cat that I want you to help is not from Riverclan."
He blinked a few times, and looked at the ground, while letting out a long and tired breath. "It's a Thunderclan she-cat, and... She's carrying my kits." He didn't look up at Dawnlight, "Please, just come with me? I don't know what to do, and I'm worried about her.... Please..." He forced himself to meet her eyes, and murmured, "Please, Dawnlight. I love her..."

Dawnlight was shocked, she was ready to turn around and leave when she remembered. She had loved a warrior named Coppertail when she was an apperntice. Her eyes became wet, threatening to spill tears. She swallowed. Ceader, a Dead Plains she0cat had killed Coppertail. Her face was full of pain for a moment.
Her eyes cleared, and she sighed deeply. She couldn't let a cat die because of her choices. Coppertail had been over welmed by her clam of love to him and he had died because of it. If this she-cat died because she didn't help her... she would never forgive herself.
She looked at the ground nerously. Love... she had chosen to become a Medicine cat and take care of Riverclan and she had given up Love.
Dawnlight smiled and looked up at Rivertail and purred. "Yes." She flicked her tail ready to help the she-cat. "Where is your...." she gulped. "Mate?"

Rivertail felt relief flood through him, and he flicked his tail, "Follow me."
He trotted back through the trees, keeping in the tall grass, and his nose pointed up. Suddenly he stepped on a bramble, and paused, looking around. Nothing.
He continued, and eventually came to the place him and Featherdance had been staying. He cast a glance over his shoulder, "Stay here for a moment."
Rivertail padded into the makeshift den, and softly murmured, "Featherdance? I've brought Dawnlight, she's Riverclan's medicine cat, she's going to help you." He tenderly pressed his muzzle against his mate's shoulder, and purred.

Featherdances ears pricked up as she heard what Rivertail had said. Her eyes followed where Rivertail had entered and scented a sweet herb scent. Featherdance sighed. "Thanks Rivertail. My stomach had been killing me-" her eyes flashed with pain and she crinkled away. "Ow."

Pain rushed through Rivertail as he watched Featherdance wriggle. He suddenly growled, "Dawnlight! Get in here now!" He glanced over his shoulder, his eyes flashing fear.
He turned his attention back to Featherdance, and pressed his muzzle against her head, "It's okay, Dawnlight will help you." He tenderly licked her ear, "I won't let anything happen to you." He pulled his head away and looked softly into her eyes for a moment, then pressed his muzzle into her fur.

Dawnlight rushed in, and looked at the she-cat in pain.Dawnlight looked at her and sighed. She turned to Rivertail "It's her back, the kits are growing to fast."
She turned back to Featherdance and smiled. "You need to chang sitting potions every once and a while. Also, take some herbs that'll gather soon."

Rivertail pressed himself against Featherdance, and looked sharply at Dawnlight, "Thank you, but please... Don't tell anybody about this. Please..."
He looked away for a moment, and blinked, then swallowed.
Without looking at Dawnlight or Featherdance he stood and padded out of the den, murmuring, "I'll leave you two alone."

Dawnlight looked after him as he left. He turned back and sighed. "Rivertail... I can tell he cares deeply for you." she said.
Featherdance pricked her ears. "I know, I care for him too." she said.
Dawnlight smiled. "Your going to have four kits." she said happly."
Featherdance smiled. "The great, can't wit to tell-" Pain shot thre wher body. "Ag." she groaned.
Dawnlight fed her some herbs.

Rivertail padded away from Dawnlight and Featherdance in the den, and sat beside a tree, not too far away. He curled his tail around his paws, and stared at the ground.
What have I done? Have I made the same mistake as Mistpaw and Nightpaw? What if.... Thunderclan won't accept Featherdance after this? Ohhh it'll be all my fault.... But, I love her so much.....
He slowly lifted his head to look at the sky.
Am I even a Riverclan cat anymore? He sighed and shook his head, I have Featherdance, and that's all that matters. As long as her and the kits are safe. Rivertail flicked his tail, and looked over his shoulder at the den. Then he murmured to himself, "I guess I'll wait until Dawnlight leaves..."

Dawnlight purred soothing words to Featherdance although her heart cried out. She missed coppertail dearly. She smiled, but her eyes showed her saddness.
Featherdance watched Dawnlight with her intense green eyes. "Dawnlight are you alright?" she said.
Dawnlight sat back so she could look at Featherdance to answer. "I am." she answered. She sighed. "I think you'll be alright." she said. She got up and smiled. "I'll get Rivertail."
Featherdance watched the medicine cat leave. "Hum..." she wondered.
Dawnlight found Rivertail and sat next to him. "Shes going to be alright. She's strong, but...."

Rivertail flicked his ears as Dawnlight came and sat next to him. He listened to her talk, and his fur prickled. But what?
He whirled around to face her, his eyes flashing, "But? But what?" Rivertail could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he inched closer to Dawnlight, until their noses were almost touching. Then he slightly growled again, "Tell me."
