Falconheart stalked through the tunnels, golden eyes gleaming. Her dark brown fur blended perfectly with the dirt. She smelled a mouse coming her way. Its frantic heartbeat vibrating in her ear fur. She ran her tongue along her teeth. She pounced, snapping its neck with a swift blow. Didn't even know what hit him. She picked up the mouse, and dropped it in a corner. She would pick it up later after she caught more fresh-kill. She lifted up her black nose, in search of more prey. She smelled a rabbit. Her tail flicked lazily. Hunting was so easy.

Mosseyes slowly crept behind Falconheart, careful not to scare all the prey in the set. "Nice catch!" she whispered. The brown tabby stalked up to the brown she-cat and scented the air. Her senses went reeling. So much prey, and so little time to hunt!

Falconheart flicked her tail. "Yes. We should keep going, so we can get enough fresh-kill to feed the entire clan." Wouldn't that be a miracle? A clan of full stomachs! thought Falconheart. "Let's go."

"Okay, lead the way." Mosseyes mewed, gesturing with a flick of her tail. Her mossy green eyes alert for any signs of movement. And her ears pricked for any and every sound in the Badger set.

Falconheart's ears flicked, and her nose twitched. "Hey, do you smell that?" A strange scent hit the roof of Falconheart's mouth. It was acrid, smoky, and made her almost want to gag. "It smells like a Twoleg monster!"

Mosseyes scented the air again, this time ignoring the scent of prey. Falconheart was right; it was a Twoleg monster. "You're right. We need to find it and see if it poses a threat to the Clan." the she-cat urgently mewed. Hunting was pushed to the back of her mind, the monster was now the main priority.

The acrid smell twanged in her nose, painful and disgusting. "Why would a monster veer so far off the Thunderpath?" she said, running at full pelt through the sett.

"Those mouse brained Twolegs must of told them to." Mosseyes growled.
The WindClan tabby ran full pace through the old Badger set, carefully navigating through the tunnels. Most of her hoped that the monster was just there because it had some how gotten lost, but somewhere deep inside told her it was something more than that.

Falconheart skidded to a halt in front of the exit. "Wasn't it farther away before?" she said, copper eyes filled with worry. She hopped out into the sunlight. There was the carcass of a monster, smoke puttering out of its rear end, and a Twoleg got out. It snarled, and kicked Falconheart with a steel-toed boot on her soft brown underbelly, bashing out all the air in her lungs as she went flying. She yowled.

"Falconheart!" Mosseyes yowled. Her instincts told her to attack the horrible Twoleg that did this to her. But, she needed to make sure that Falconheart was alright first.
Th e tabby pelted to where Falconheart landed. "Flaconheart, Flaconheart, are you okay?" she meowed her voice heavy with worry for her Clanmate.

Ghostwind was looking around for Falconheart when he found MOsseyes. "Where'd Falconheart go?" he asked.

"Ghostwind! I've never been so relieved to see you! A Twoleg and its monster are right outside the Abandoned Badger Set, and the Twoleg attacked Falconheart." Mosseyes yowled to Ghostwind.
The WindClan tabby nudged Falconheart, urging her to get up. They needed to get back to camp as fast as they could. She'd lead a patrol to investigate what exactly they were doing in this far into WindClan territory.

Falconheart managed to get up. She was angry...VERY angry. "Twoleg." she spat. "It DARES to lash out at me." she snarled, poising to rip off the Twoleg's soft, bald face. She knew she was in no position to attack the Twoleg, but she didn't care. She needed to teach it not to attack a WindClan cat.

"NO Falconheart. NOw is not the time. We'll come back later." Ghostwind said calmingly.
(ooc: my cat can be annoying or calming!)

"Ghostwind is right, we've got to get you back to camp. Plus, if we've got more cats, then we'll stand a better chance." Mosseyes urgently mewed. Her tail tip twitching.

Falconheart calmed down. What was she doing? Sometimes her temper-and her loyalty to the clan-took over and clouded her judgment. "You're right." she meowed.

Ghostwind said, "We'd better get moving before that Twoleg gets any ideas."

Mosseyes nodded curtly. "Are you alright to travel, Falconheart?" she mewed to the she-cat. Her paws were itching to get away from this Twoleg as fast as possible, and get to safety. But, her mind told her that she had to try and understand why this Twoleg was here, later.

Falconheart nodded. "I think so." She took a step, then fell. "I guess not." she said, wincing.
