SPLAT!

[Falconheart]

Summerpaw was climbing all over the Sunningrocks. She found her little spot. It was hers. It was an unwritten rule that no one but her could sit there. If you sat in it, you would die at the claws of Summerpaw. Her paws were so sore that they gave out underneath her and she made a thump noise when she landed in her spot. She thought about her daydream when she had been in the Tallpines. Warriors could tell when she was daydreaming about that sort of stuff, and every time her bright green eyes glazed over, the warrior in charge would bat her with their paw and yowl gruffly,
"Stop dreaming, Summerpaw. You're awake."
Scorchpelt, in particular, was good at picking out dreamers, and cats who where, in general, a little bit out of line. She nestled into her spot, purring.

Leopardpaw smelled Summerpaw, his den mate. Going to the she cat, he layed down to get the Sun heat on his spotted fur.

"How are you today Summerpaw?" He asked.

[Falconheart]

Summerpaw looked up sleepily.
"I'm okay. How about you?"
These rocks had an amazing way of making her tired.

"I'm doing good." He said.

[Swimfast]

Snowheart saw the two apprentices laying in the sun together, and her fur bristled as she realized the danger, she trotted over to the apprentices, "Summerpaw, Leopardpaw, you two shouldn't fall asleep here. It's not safe. You know very well that we have been fighting Riverclan for this territory. I would keep an eye open. Be more careful next time you wish to doze off." Snowheart looked seriously at them, hoping the two youngsters would take her warning seriously.

Summerpaw's hearing was excellent, and she heard pawsteps nearing her. She got up.
"Snowheart, I don't mean to offend you, but I doubt RiverClan cats would attack right out in the open."

Summerpaw wasn't letting her ego block her eyes and ears. She was just being reasonable. If RiverClan cats were the slinky, slimy cats that she thought they were, they would wait until nightfall. It was sunhigh right now.

[Swimfast]

Snowheart knew the apprentices were smart, and they were particially right, but she still mewed, softly, "That may be what they have done in the past, but that doesn't mean that is what they will continue to do. Things change, young apprentcies, and I trust you will keep your eyes, and ears open." With that said, Snowheart turned and began to stalk off toward camp.

Summerpaw shrugged as Snowheart walked off.
"I don't think they'd attack. I scare them too much!" she joked. She fluffed her fur up.
"Hey RiverClan!" she mewed. "I dare ya!"
If she fought them off, maybe that was a shortcut to getting her warrior name!

Reality check! No. Of course not. If she were to provoke an attack, then she would have put the Clan in danger and the Clan ALWAYS came first. If she were to LOSE, RiverClan would quite possibly go into ThunderClan Camp and kill everyone! And that's never good!

Summerpaw hoped that there wasn't a RiverClan border patrol right now that'd heard the apprentice's words and was coming this way.

Leopardpaw looked at Snowheart then to Summerpaw, RiverClan must be an idiot to try and get ThunderClan in the middle of the day. Leopardpaw's claws brushed to smooth rock which gave the warm. Leopardpaw could tell that Summerpaw was thinking about RiverClan fighting ThunderClan, he knew from her eyes.

"Summerpaw don't be so scared, if RiverClan tries to fight ThunderClan then they will only fight for Sunning Rocks, I bet that from all that swimming that their ears are stuck together so they couldn't hear you." He said looking over to the were the river was.
