"We were in camp, and rogues camp out of nowhere. Some of our clanmates have joined Starclan." Ambermoon said, showing no emotion, she continued "Crowstar lost a life from them and they want to take all of the territoriees. They are the same rogues that attacked the Gathering."

"We were attacked. By those rogues from the last Gathering." Hawkshadow said bterly. "They took us by surprise and we suffered heavy casualties. In the end they retreated, but none of them died. Our deputy had also gone missing." Finished Hawkshadow collasped, tiered with exhaustion.

"Those rogues are back?" Silentbreeze mewed under her breath. What would happen if... ... She couldn't even bring the thought to her mind. No, she would not allow herself to even think about them for one moment.
The orange tabby pulled herself together enough to respond to the ShadowClan cats.
"Do you think that they would attack RiverClan, too?" she meowed.

She was trying to be nice and calm about this, but that she-cat was getting them nowhere!

"Thank you. We'll make sure all of RiverClan knows of this danger." Silentbreeze mewed dipping her head to the two ShadowClan warriors.
All of RiverClan except the kits, she told herself. She knew if her kits, or any other knew of this danger it would be a wreck. The best thing to do was act like everything was normal in the nursery.
Silenbreeze turned to Tinyfang and Rainfall. "Tinyfang, Rainfall, wake the warriors. They need to be informed at once." she meowed to the warrior she-cats.

"Of course Silentbreeze." Tinyfang mewed to Silentbreeze.
She immediately ran to the warriors den, trying to be as loud as she could.
"Warriors of Riverclan, wake up!" Tinyfang yowled as loud as she could, even though she was in the warriors den.

The orange tabby turned back to the ShadowClan cats. "Is there anything else you would like us to know?" she asked.
The she-cat was still a little shaky about being with other Clan cats. Ever since Flamefur had been killed, she was mistrusting of cats from different Clans.

Stonekit was horrified. The rogues were back?! How was that possible. Well if they came to Riverclan he would show them. He thought.

Silentbreeze nodded. "Go straight back to your camp." she meowed. The she-cat dipped her head to the warriors once more.
She looked at the camp, now beginning to stir with life a bit earlier than normal.
But, there was something that wasn't quite right. Stonekit! Her pale yellow eyes spotted the kit peering out from the nursery.
She padded over to him. "Stonekit, what are you doing?" she mewed softly.

"What did Hawkshadow mean by rogues?" Stonekit asked, afraid. Then his voice hardened into a shell, "YOu're hiding things from us. Don't attempt to stop the outbreak." He said venomently.

"Sweetie, you must be very tired. Just forget about it and go back to sleep." Silentbreeze mewed to the kit. She gave him a lick between the ears.
"Go on now. If you want to play tomorrow, you must have energy for it." she added.
The she-cat did a pretty good job of covering up her terrified and worried emotions in front of Stonekit.
The orange queen could only hope that he would be convinced. It wasn't like he was only a moon old and gullible, oh where did the time go?

Waking up to hearing cats yowl and odd scents was not her way of waking up in the morning.

"Oh nothing, little one. Stonekit just had a nightmare. And you should always just forget about those nasty things." Silentbreeze mewed. She nuzzled her kit, hopefully making her go back to sleep.
The she-cat didn't want her kits to know about the rogues. They were just kits, after all! They should be having fun, not living in a shadow of fear.

"Uh, okay Mom." Gingerkit mewed back to her mother.
She may just be a cat, but she knew something was wrong. There was an odd scent in the air, and Gingerkit had heard some yowling.
Forgetting about what she had heard, Gingerkit fell back asleep.
