Mosseyes slowly crept further into the Badger set. She kept scent for what she had been looking for.
Finally, after what seemed like an entirely, she found it. The she-cat raised her tail for the others to halt, so not to scare off the rare mice.
"Found them." she deeply mewed probably as soft as shew could with the other she-cat still hearing her. The she-cat barley moved, waiting for the other's responses.

Silverpaw looked around tentatively. She had followed the group saying nothing, but she didn't hunt.. she might be good, but she had never tried.

Mosseyes scented the air once more.
"I think I'll go this way." she mewed flicking her tail in the direction that headed for mice. "Silverpaw, do you want to come with me?" she added.

Silverleaf was getting closer to the mouse scent.
She was just about to prance on the little mouse, when another animal ran past her. It grabbed the mouse she was after, but all she knew is that the animal wasn't a cat.
What could it be? Silverleaf thought to herself.

She slowly followed Mosseyes, making only a soft padding sound.

Mosseyes shrugged it off and padded on. Getting closer and closer to the source every pawstep.
She drank in the sweet scents of prey.
The she-cat finally found a mouse, chewing on a seed. She stalked closer and closer to it. She was just about to go for the kill when a noise scared away the feeding mouse.
Mosseyes looked around, she was positive that it wasn't her. "What was that?" she mewed.

Fox! Ghostwind thought hurriedly. If need be he'd rescue the she-cats but they seemed to be fine on their own now.

"I didn't see anything. Something made a noise, and it wasn't Nightsky, or myself." Mosseyes explained.
The she-cat scented the air. Masked behind hundreds of prey, the smell had something wicked within it.
"Fox!" she hissed. Her eyes darting rapidly from place to place. The scent wasn't stale, it was fresh, less than a day ago.

A fox was not good news. Somehow a perfect day was ruined by the terrible presence of a fox.

Ghostwind made his decision fast. Sprinting he ran/jumped on to the fox smothering it with his weight, clawing it's flanks and head until those she-cats turned around. And if they didn't soon, he would pay with his life. Desperatly trying to buy time he clawed the fox's eyes which only served to make it angrier. it ripped itself from his grip tossing him limply from its back. He was too weak now to retaliate. He would be dead in a few seconds. So this is how it feels he thought. To know you are going to die. He felt strangly calm...

"Ghostwind!" Nightsky yowled as she turned around to see the warrior flung from the disturbing fox.
Without even thinking, Nightsky leaped at the fox. She clawed as much as she could, hoping Mosseyes and Silverleaf would help soon.

She ran over to where the sound was coming from, and there it was. Ghostwind was on top of a fox.

Mosseyes sprang after the fox, powered by the rage of finding that Ghostwind had been following them, again!
The she-cat's unsheathed claws tore at the fox's orange pelt, almost instantaneously drawing blood. The fox bend it's head to nip at his attacker, but it had no idea that it was dealing with WindClan. The tabby darted to behind the fox.
Mosseyes thought quickly, an easy way to attack was from above, like an eagle and a mouse. The mouse never saw it coming. The she-cat used the fox's thick, oily tail to claw her way up onto his back.
She sheathed her claws in and carefully made her way to his shoulders. Then, she unsheathed her claws, sinking them in deeper into the fox's body. The fox was trashing, now, she held on for dear life.
StarClan, help us! she silently prayed to her warrior ancestors.

Relieved that Mosseyes was using quick logic, Nightsky pulled away from the fox. A second later, she was charging at the fox from behind. Claws unsheathed, she clawed at it's lower back. Blood instantly poured from it's back, but not enough. She began to dig deeper, deeper than she ever had before.
