Swanpaw walked next to Moonfang. This would be the first time she had ever gone to the Moonstone. She couldn't wait. Warriors and other apprentices had always told of its mystical beauty. Now she could finally be able to see it. All of the other medicine cats looked happy. The apprentices probably had the same excited gleam in their eyes as she had in her ice-blue ones. She was lucky. Most apprentices or warriors only got to see the Moonstone once, maybe at most three times in their life. She saw it twice every moon! She was lucky.

Silverpaw sat, tense and uncertain, kneading her tail with her paws. she often did that when nervous.

"Hello." she said, and walked over to the nervous apprentice. "I'm Swanpaw."

Swanpaw smiled.
"Silverpaw? Nice name! I'm from ShadowClan. Believe it or not, we're not all that evil. At least that's what I think."

Moonfang glanced over to her apprentice.
"Making friends, I see?" she laughed, more light-hearted than usual. "I expect you to behave, Swanpaw. Right? No goofing off." she added, but she was only half serious. She knew that her apprentice would behave, as well as all the other medicine cat apprentices. However, they would surely be excited, as it was most of their first times going.

"I'll be good, Moonfang!" she said. Moonfang was in a very good mood recently. That was a good thing.

Dawnpaw looked at the Medicne cats and apprentices. "Hi!" she said happly. She walked over to Silverpaw and Swanpaw. "Hi, instite this your first time hear?" she asked and slowed down to the pace of the apprentices. She could not wait to share with Starclan.

She trotted up to the RiverClan apprentice.
"How goes it in the land of fishies?"

Moonfang watched the apprentices with amusement. They got along so well, but they almost never listened.
"ShadowClan has been fairly well," she sighed. "We are recovering extremely quick from the attack, but Swanpaw and I were pretty busy for quite a while afterward. I'm glad to say that just about every injury has been healed by now, though," she laughed.
The medicine cat glanced back to her apprentice, Swanpaw.
"This one's a pawful," she whispered teasingly, leaning in towards Creamtail. "She has the tongue of an adder, but the heart of a a cat, through and through."

Moonfang nodded.
"I can't argue with that," she sighed, remembering her disastrous apprentice life. She'd tried so hard to catch something, and ended up destroying her biggest dream. "But I swear, sometimes it's as if she's still only three moons old! No respect!" she laughed, eye gleaming to show Swanpaw that she was only joking. "You should have seen her the other day, mouthing off a new warrior. It's as if she was never taught what respect meant."

Dawnpaw sighed. "This is my first too!" She looked over to Swanpaw smiled. "Yes the fishy's are well running. How about you?" she asked back. Looking over to the smiling Medicine cats, she winked at Creamtail.
