I saw Mama Mia today. I've got to say, my sister was right.
I feel like I should of taken her warning when she said Mama Mia wasn't very good.
My opinion on the movie:
Why, you ask? Well, I will tell you why;
I think they had Donna (the mom) casted a bit too old. You would think that she would be somewhere from 40 to 50.
Also, I didn't feel too well after the older women sang Dancing Queen. They murdered that song. A lot of the songs seemed murdered in this movie.
I think I have lost a lot of respect for Pierce Brosnan. My favorite Bond. Singing. At least he was better than a lot of the people in the movie, but it still didn't sound quite right. When I think of Pierce's movies, I think action. Every movie I've seen with Perice in it always has some danger, a show of a gun and such. I don't think anyone could of predicted he was going to do a musical.
The mother defiantly was not a very behave person in her young days.. With all those ". . ." 's in her diary. She would of had her happy ending early, too, if she hadn't been with another guy so soon after Sam left.
Overall, Phantom of the Opera a million times better. Across the Universe just plain pwn'd.
