The moon barely began its rise over the horizon as Lightstar made his way into the clearing where the Gathering would be held. His paws brushed gently against the grass, turned into a paler color with the scarce moonlight. Golden eyes examined the sky, before the tom decided that StarClan was not worried about the night. He looked over his shoulder at Tinyfang, and flicked his tail, indicating that the warriors could make their own descent into the open field. He looked over his other shoulder to Dawnlight with a warm expression, before settling himself at the base of the great rock to await the appearence of the other Clan's leaders. Inhaling, the white tom spoke to Tinyfang, and partly to himself, "This moon is going to be an eventful one, I can feel it." His ears pricked, and for a moment the leader believed he could hear another Clan entering the clearing. Lightstar's golden gaze changed direction into that of where the sound was coming from. However, for the moment, he held off on meowing a greeting. The RiverClan leader rolled his tongue over his fangs, and curled his tail around his stomach, beginning to think about how to place his words. Announcing the apprentices was important, of course, and Dawnlight's new status was also a serious and official matter. The death of Flamekit was something else to report, but after that life in RiverClan since the last gathering had been as usual as ever.

>>Snowpaw<<
Snowpaw felt her fur prickle as she followed her clan into the fourtrees. She let her mismatched eyes travel up towards the sky, knowing her mother and father were watching her. She flexed her claws as her snowy white pelt moved in the mass of cats, pushing her way into the trees. Riverclan was here already. Flicking her eyes towards her mentor, the leader, Snowpaw felt her fur prickle again. "I wish mom and dad were here." The she-cat said sadly to herself, looking over at her siblings; they always seemed so happy, even after the death of their father, but Snowpaw knew who caused it. She had seen Silentstar take the life of her father, but her father had wanted it, so Snowpaw couldn't do anything to change that. It was Milkpoppy she had a vendetta on, and Milkpoppy would die, she would make sure of it. Her and any children she had.[/blockquote] Stormeyes! Stormeyes had decided to come to this gathering. Snowheart was in the nursery with their six rambunctious kits. Or rather five rambunctious kits and one over the top kit. Icykit was a cute thing, always eager to please her mother and father. She was the spitting image of him, and Stormeyes loved her, her siblings and her mother to death. Metaphorically of course. But something was on the tom's mind. Dustfoot, the deputy, had only trained one apprentice - the one he had now - and the Warrior Code stated that deputies must have trained at least two apprentice. Shrugging the thought off, Stormeyes followed his clan, looking at the gossiping apprentices. Lilypaw, Grey fur moved past her clanmates. Her pink eyes lay on one destination. Dappleclaw was by her side, and Lilypaw wanted to get back as soon as possible. Hazelcloud was worried about her pregnancy; some of the kits didn't quite feel right, not compared to Snowheart's pregnancy was. She pushed through the fourtrees, and her fur prickled as she saw Dawnlight, the mighty, the oh-so-pretty, the one she really wanted to feed deathberries too. Narrowing her eyes, the barely apprenticed kit trotted past, sitting with the other apprentices. Dappleclaw looked like she wanted to talk to Dawnlight. 'Oh God I hope not. Lilypaw thought, snorting. If Dappleclaw talked to Dawnlight, then she'd ask her to come over and talk to Dawnlight. Oh, the travesty! Coldpawʅ Licking his lips, Coldpaw stalked effortlessly behind the other apprentices, giving others the air that he was a warrior. His white pelt stuck out amongst the crowd, and he could hear others giggling like kits. His yellow eyes stared down any cat that dared look him in the eye, and he moved away from the other apprentice, sitting alone and staring at the Great Rock. One day, yes, one day he would be standing upon there, he would be famous amongst the clans; Coldstar, the first leader of all four clans. Yes, he liked the sound of that very much. So very much. Brokensoulͻ Brokensoul had been pregnant for a short while according to Dappleclaw. She was fairly happy, but she was pretty big already. Just how many kits was she having she wondered, smiling gently. She wanted a big litter, a big litter to shower her love on. Lots of love, not like her other kits. How she missed them. They had all been so small when she had to leave, especially her Shadowclan kits. Craning her neck to get a good look, she couldn't see any that looked like her children. Then she looked for Windclan, but they weren't here yet. Huffing, Brokensoul sat down with the elder warriors, who were all talking about the Shadowclan deputy. Who was he? What was his name? He didn't look like a clan cat by the sounds of it. Twixpawϗ Today was the day. Or rather, tonight was the night. Twixpaw's deep orange eyes scanned the crowd, and she ran over to the other apprentices. "Hey there! I'm Twixpaw from Thunderclan, and this is my sister Troublepaw!" She grinned, flicking her tail at the yellow eyed grey tabby beside her. "Hello there Twixpaw, Troublepaw. My name is Shiverpaw, I'm from Shadowclan." A white tom with mismatched eyes said quietly. "Hi there Shiverpaw! Twixpaw grinned, sitting in the circle of apprentices. She looked up at the leaders. "So, I heard Shadowclan has a new deputy? What's his name?" Twixpaw asked the Shadowclan apprentices eagerly.[/blockquote] Troublepaw♫ Troublepaw was in awe, trotting after her sister as she stared around the place. She simply nodded as Twixpaw introduced her to another apprentice. She let her eyes wander around the place, looking around with wide yellow eyes. "This place is awesome." Ttroublepaw said as she stared, flicking her tail gently. She'd never been to a gathering before, not ever. She was always the one to stay behind and guard camp, care for the elders, wait eagerly for any news from other clans via her sister or friends. Shiverpawⱴ Shiverpaw sat in the circle of apprentices, rather imaptiently as he watched cats stream in from all sides. Some of the cats that came in looked interesting, especially the grey apprentice with the burning orange eyes. She trotted over and introduced herself as Twixpaw, and her sister was Troublepaw. "Hello there Twixpaw, Troublepaw. My name is Shiverpaw, I'm from Shadowclan." Shiverpaw said. "Hi there Shiverpaw! So, I heard Shadowclan has a new deputy? What's his name?" The inquisitive she-cat asked. "I'm sorry, no one is allowed to talk about it." The shy apprentice replied. He could barely see the other she-cat. He hated being half blind.[/blockquote] [extra long post is extra long][/blockquote]

"Hi everyone!" Frostpaw yelled as she sprinted up to Fourtrees. She was normally a little less energetic than this, but this was her first gathering. Frostpaw looked up at the trees, staring in awe. Wow..... She thought while still staring up at the trees. Frostpaw realized that she was still running and stopped suddenly, tripping over her own paws. She quickly picked herself up off the ground, and looked around nervously.I hope no one saw that.... She thought while slowly walking over to the other apprentices.

Falconheart bounded into Fourtrees, followed by Aspenleaf. "Can you believe we drove out those rogues?" she mewed softly. Falconheart turned and looked at Aspenleaf. "Well YOU didn't help much! Playing dead!!!" Aspenleaf glared. "If I had continued to fight, then I would have died, and I wouldn't have really done any lasting damage to any cat. Better to save yourself for another day than to join StarClan for no reason. Be more logical, Falconheart, and don't just rush into battle." Falconheart rolled her eyes and bowed gracefully to her. "Yes, Master. I shall keep that in mind." she meowed mockingly. They mingled with the other cats. "WindClan's here!" yelled Summerpaw. "Of course, you dummy." retorted another apprentice.

Silentbreeze emerged into the clearing protected by the four ancient oaks. It had been a while since she had come here last, but tonight should, hopefully, turn out well.
----------------
Moonpaw came into the clearing with the other ShadowClan cats. It seemed like there was a large mass of apprentices lately. It seemed odd, but still, helpful in some way. One of the main reasons he didn't just pretend to have an illness on Gathering nights was this. He had once heard of a foolish, young, ThunderClan apprentice who didn't know what was too much to say. So, in the end, there was an attack launched on the ThunderClan camp. Moonpaw's hope was that he could find something out of another apprentice, so long as he was friendly and kind. So, for this reason, the ShadowClan apprentice put on a happy face every Gathering he came to.
-----------------
Cloudwhisker padded in behind a number of apprentices in her Clan. Her whiskers twitching with excitement. She longed to find out what had been going on this past moon with the other Clans. And just wanted to see old friends who might be roaming about somewhere.
------------------
Mosseyes came in behind Falconheart and Aspenleaf. She had overheard there disagreement. "The only thing that really matters now is that we drove them out," she meowed sternly to the two she-cats. She hoped that they wouldn't say anything that might give other Clans an idea that WindClan was weak. That would end drastically, she was sure.
-------------------- {{OOC: Tyler said I have the rights to role play Silentstar, so long as he doesn't end up dead and stays Silentstar-y, so here I go!}}}
The full moon hung in the dark sky, signifying a Gathering taking place. Sheltered by the four massive oaks, cats were already beginning to gather.
The sleek, dark shape of SilentStar moved through the massive tangle of cats. He was ready to share the news of his deputy, and confident of his choice. He spotted his deputy sitting quietly, not looking like he had much interest in sharing tongues with cats of the other Clans.
Almost at once he saw the RiverClan leader, LightStar.
"Greetings, LightStar. How has the prey been running in RiverClan?"
Moonfang had given him the proper herbs for his tongue before they had set out for the Gathering. The swelling in his tongue was minimum, if any.

Summerpaw looked around. She saw the ShadowClan apprentice, Moonpaw. He was handsome, that was for sure.
Summerpaw tended to come to Gatherings often, so she often had a chance to look at him. She fancied him, a little bit. And she knew that it was wrong. She couldn't be in love with a cat from another Clan. It was against the Warrior Code.
She sighed. Her green eyes lowered and she looked at her paws. She was close to being a warrior. Her times as an apprentice were close to done. She wondered if Moonpaw was any closer.

[bleh... short]
Lightstar took a swift glance at Silentstar, at first looking almost indifferent, before the tom purred softly. "Things is RiverClan are certainly better from the last Gathering." It was the truth, will all the things that had happened his only worry was how Silverstar would react if, IF, that apprentice wanted to come to RiverClan. Still, there was nothing so bad to be concerned about. He glanced over his shoulder at Tinyfang, and returned to the conversation. "How are things going in ShadowClan, Silentstar?" A heartbeat later, the tom blinked, for no particular reason of course, but he couldn't help but notice the other leaders' delays.
&.
ShadowClan was the second Clan to Gathering, and as Scarpath broke away from Rainpaw who she had been talking to, the warrior entered the clearing behind Shiverpaw. As a warrior, it would be her first Gathering, and so she padded towards a warrior (Silentbreeze x3) whom she didn't know and introduced herself. "Hello! My name is Scarpath, from ShadowClan." The she-cat flicked her ears in a friendly way, recognizing that the warrior's scent was from RiverClan. Scarpath's white and brown-spotted pelt was fluffed up against the night air, before she noticed Jayflight out of the corner of her eye. Recently, he had been everywhere in her thoughts, but the warrior was trying desperately to ignore him. She managed to do so for this moment, and keep her gaaze on the other she-cat.

Leopardpaw walked into the Gathering, he had been waiting all moon for this night. His eyes gave that twinkle that showed he was happy. He was soon going to be made a warrior for sure, his seek golden fur shined in the moonlight. He was one of the strogest cats in all the clans, he was very tall and he didn't care how he looked on this night but this was going to be admazing. He tunred all around looking at cats talk about prey and all sorts of things. He glaze froze on Summerpaw, what was she doing? Didn't she know he liked her? A low growl came from Leopardpaw, he saw her looked at what his name Skypaw, Graypaw all the time at Gatherings. He raked his long claws og the hard ground. HOw dare she like a tom from another clan when she has one that liked her every since he was made an apprentice. He walked past her hissing at her, his eyes were colder than ice. Walking away from Summerpaw he thought that StarClan made it that way, he did like Twixpaw but would she ever like him or does she like another tom better than him. He didn't want to talk to anyone any more, he did what he was best at an climbed a high tree. He watch the colors of cats walk around chatting about everything. He stared at Twixpaw then to Summerpaw but his eyes went strait back to Twixpaw.

Dawnlight looked at Lilypaw. What a brat! She hates me! Dawnlight smiled at her and sighed. She would have to learn to be nice. She waked over to Moonfang and smiled. "Hi, hows is things in Shadowclan?" she asked and sat down next to her. She was a little scared at what would come.
Robinpaw looked after Leapardpaw. Why was he up in a tree? "Leapardpaw? Why you up there?" he called. He looked over at the cats around him. His gaze fell on Troublepaw. He walked over to the grope of apprentice and smiled. "Hi guys!" said grinning and sat down. He looked over at Leapardpaw again. Dumby! he thought.

Tawny walked slowly into the four trees, she didn't want to be here. She would have to tell Lightstar what she would do. She saw little miss perfect Dawnlight walk over to some apprentices. Dawnlight was so a leader's pet, trying to be perfect the truth was no one liked Dawnlight, maybe Lightstar but who knows. She saw Lilypaw her pink eyes were easy to see in the group of cats. She saw Twixpaw, Troublepaw, Shiverpaw, Robinpaw, and Coldpaw by his self. Tawny did like Coldpaw so why not go over there and sit with him, he is all alone. She ran over to Coldpaw before Lightstar could see her. She thought he was the most handsome and smart cat in the whole clan but she didn't know if he like her. She loved his orange eyes, she just felt weird being around Coldpaw but it was a good feeling. She did know that he seemed evil to other cats but not to her but just a tom that got to her. She did want to be mates with him but he would never go for her. She would just say hi that's all. "Er, hello Coldpaw, pretty sky isn't it?" She asked looking up at the sky.
Jayflight looked at Scarpath, his claw were going to break if he didn't stop digging into to ground. He would just have to ask her if she liked him and that they could be friends. He did love her but being friends would be a good start. His gray-blue fur was very bright in the starlight tonight. He could just hear a owl hoot as it ate his prey. Jayflight walked over to Scarpath and did something that was so silly. He tripped over a branch and landed right on top of Scarpath. His pelt was now covered with dust, why why him? He got off Scarpath see dozens of eyes stare at him, his ear were on fire. "Um good night to you all!" He yelled walking away from Scarpath. How was he going to be friends with Scarpath if each time he runs away.

Rainpaw ran up behind Scarpath. The eager young apprentice could not contain his excitement, and he was ecstatic to the point that he didn't notice that he bumped into his mentor. "Heh. Sorry." He said quickly to Scarpath. Rainpaw didn't wait for a response, and he ran over to the other apprentices.
__________
Dustfoot slowly walked up, staring at the sky. No matter how many gatherings he came to, he never got tired of that beautiful sight. He looked over at the apprentices, and smiled, remembering the days when he was an apprentice. Well, this gathering will probably be a rather interesting one. He thought. However, there was something on his mind....

Summerpaw turned to look at Leopardpaw. What was up with him? "Uuuuh...Leopardpaw? What's wrong?"
Was he hissing at HER?
She couldn't hurt him right now. She was at a Gathering, and that was against the warrior Code.
Then it hit her. Did he see her looking at Moonpaw? Why would HE care if she was looking at a ShadowClan apprentice?

Leopardpaw looked back at Summerpaw, how couldn't she see he liked her for about 6 moons? He still liked Summerpaw but didn't know if she would like him.
Snowstorm walked into the Gathering, she wasn't sick any more but some what deaf. She needed to get away, Loudtalon just wasn't his self these days and now they were broken up. The kits would be okay they still had there dad sort of.

Creamtail spotted Dawnlight as she walked towards fourtrees, She padded over to her, "Hello, How's the gathering after going through a big change?"She purred amused. "Don't stress yourself out, I'll drop in with some prey a few times alright?"

Dawnlight looked over at Creamtail. She was like a mother to her. She smiled and sighed. "I think no won really likes me. Lilypaw hissed at me, and I thought Medicine cats were not to have quarrel's with each other. Other wise, yeah it going great, no ones knows yet, I think?" she whispered and looked up at the leaders.
Robinpaw hated that the way some cats treated other in such ways. A growl was mumbling in his mouth at Lilypaw and Tawny. They were so much alike that he could feel what the were thinking or he guessed. Dawnlight was a great Medicine cat, and was so pretty. It is a shame she wanted to be a Medicine cat, not a warrior. Troublepaw was for him. He looked over at Troublepaw and winked.

Loudtalon walked into the Gathering, he didn't want to be here. His mind was on everything bad, StarClan said that he was going to die. His yellow eyes went all over the cats, he wasn't the cat that he liked, having fun all the time. He just wanted it over with and die. He sat down listening to the cats around him.

Creamtail smiled, "Give them some time, when they get used to the fact that you're medicine cat now, they'll respect you for it."her eyes showed the look of the words "Don't worry.". "Well, have you decided on an apprentice?"she asked. "and Lilypaw is just going to take a while before frienddships start, so you two will finally be friends soon, I can promise you that."
