Returned and rested from his journey with Dawnlight, the tom was finally ready to get things back to normal. He stretched inside his den, flattening his ears against his head, before returning to perfect posture and padding out of his den. He glanced around camp to see who was active shortly after sunhigh, and then settled into his usual position in the center. His place allowed him to have a good view of the activities, and the first thing he did was beckon Tinyfang over to his side. He gave her a meaningful look, and then began. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather in the clearing for a Clan Meeting!" His white fur was slightly damp, and the green-leaf sun felt good with a nice breeze. What a wonderful day StarClan had blessed them with, and although his news wasn't bad it might not make the Clan very pleased. However, it was StarClan's will that Dawnlight be Medicine Cat, since she would have had the full experience. Or, close to it anyway, since Longfeather really hadn't finished it, but she would at least have the full powers. |

Dawnlight stepped out of the Medicine den and walked over to Lightstar and sat down. He was going to tell everyone about me! she thought. She sat down and smiled. Her eyes gleamed.

Loudtalon watched by the warriors den, Lightstar with Dawnlight by his his side. Only one thing that it could be is Dawnpaw to Dawnlight. He gave a nod to Dawnlight ready to here what she would say. He gave a smile as he saw his kits play-fighting with each other. Today he felt really good, as if all the bad things went away for a day. He was glad that Lightstar finally made Dawnpaw a full medicine cat, today would be a big day for her.

Blazefang padded out of the warrior den, sides still aching from the battle with Shadow. He stretched out in the light, and padded over gently, eyes drooping.
Musefaith's dark pelt swayed out of the warrior den, purring.

Lightstar was only observing for the moment, but the news seemed to have gone around quickly. The cat he was waiting for most, however, was Creamtail. He expected she would disagree with him, but it was his place to make the choice. His tail flicked, in an almost amused way, to see the delay in cats arriving. It was a bit surprising, shortly past sunhigh, and no cats should be out on an arranged patrol. Now that he thought about it, there was also the fact that an apprentice needed to become a warrior. He scanned thr camp, searching this time for the prescence Badgerpaw. |

However, In the crowd was Creamtail, her eyes gave a look that said 'You made the right choice' She flicked her tail signalling to him that she was right there and to get on with it. She was itching to get back to her old life

DawnLight smiled at Creamtail and walked over to her. "Thanks for teaching me what I needed to no." she said and sighed. "I will miss you in the medicine den." She walked back over to Lightstar and Tinyfang.

"I'm sure the word has spread, but Dawnlight is the new Medicine Cat of RiverClan. Approved by our ancestors, it is time for Creamtail to step down and resume her duties as a warrior." He purred, quite pleased with the smooth way things were going. "I hope both of you continue to serve your Clan to the best of your abilities." The tom flicked his tail and left his spot, allowing the group to scatter and welcome Dawnlight with her full abilities, and welcome Creamtail back into the warrior's den. He returned to his own den, feeling his heart lighten a bit. For just a moment, he was happy to be around his Clan, even if he didn't remember his youngest years life would always go on. |

Three cats walked out of the Warrior's den. They were Jadeflower, Lightfoot, and Rainpetal. Sitting abreast, they watched Dawnlight's actions.
"Creamtail will be an interesting warrior now." meowed Jadeflower.
"Yeah. Dawnlight...I wonder." said Rainpetal, her blue eyes staring skeptically at the new Medicine Cat.
"Didn't she try to join the Dead Plains?" meowed Lightfoot quietly.

Rivertail sat at the edge of the clearing, listening, he glanced at Creamtail, but she was facing away from him, so he couldn't see her face. I hope Lightstar has made the right decision...... He flicked his tail, then looked at Mistpaw, who had been pawing at him, "What is it, Mistpaw?"
Mistpaw mewed, "What's Creamtail going to do now?" Rivertail sighed, "Weren't you listening? She is going to resume her duties, as a warrior. Like us." Mistpaw stayed quiet for a moment, then nodded, and didn't say another word.
