Tawny decided that Tallpines was the best place to hunt, there were always plenty of prey here during green leaf. Tawny opened her mouth to see if the other apprentices were here to explain the rules. She smelled most of them coming this way. She sat down on the soft ground, waiting for the cats to come over and start the contest. Looking around she saw a squirrel on a low branch. Yes, the first prey of the contest. She stalked closer to the prey, waiting for the right time to strike. She stayed still seeing if the squirrel noticed her. The prey was too busy eating a nut. Tawny leaped into to air landing on the squirrel her claws extended. With a few swipes of a claw she had her first prey of the contest. She looked around, she thought that she heard something. Soon she smelled ThunderClan cat, it must be one of them. She still had the prey dangling from her jaw. The cat came into sight, she must look silly with a squirrel dangling from her jaw.
"Hello there, I was just getting some prey for the elders." She said with fur on her tongue.

Robinpaw stepped out of the bush. He had smelled pray. It reminded him of how hunger he was, but the clan came first. He and Troublepaw were going to win this contest or at lest be friends. He walked over to Tawny. She had a squirrel in her jaws. "Hey Tawny, so thats for the elders." he said and waited for the other apprentices.

"Why would she let perfect piece of prey run away and not hunt it." Leopardpaw said coming over to the other cats.
"Tawny, Robinpaw good to see you, I'm ready to hunt until my paws fall off." He said twitching his ear.

"Thanks Leopardpaw, that's why I hunted this squirrel. I just am so happy to see you clean the elders den." She said to Leopardpaw.

[hurr I was supposed to post this  nevermind, what's done is done]
Stalking the rabbit ahead of him, Coldpaw angrily flicked his tail at the others. Pressing his feet of the ground, he shot from his spot, landing on the rabbit with a smush sound. "We should all allocate ourselves a prey spot. One stays behind while the other hunts, to prevent cheating and stealing. We'll use a pine tree each, the base. Number yourselves one and two. One's go first, two's second for obvious reasons." Coldpaw said, cracking his neck and dropping the rabbit by Tawnypaw's prey.

"I want to hunt bye the river." he said and waited for the others to say where they wanted. "Well... where ever Troublepaw wants to go I'll go." His paws were wanting to hunt. He had not hunted for two days since his mentor died. He wanted to catch a squirrel.

"I want to hunt here, what do you think Coldpaw?" She asked looking down at the prey.
Her glaze fell on Coldpaw, that was a good idea on how to do the game. She thought that he would want the cheat but he's paying fair.

Robinpaw glared at Leapardpaw. "I can speck for myself, thank you very much." he grinned and turned and walked over to Troublepaw. "I'm so sorry, I'd love to hunt with you.." he whispered into her ear so only she could she could hear. "I don't care where we hunt, only thats their is prey." he said smiling at the she-cat. She liked him and he had to be nice back. She was cuter then Tawnypaw.

Leopardpaw didn't get what was with Robinpaw, he was now always mean to him and not joking around.
"I don't care Robinpaw I was just saying what Tawny meant. What's with you?" He asked shaking what was left of his tail.

Robinpaw sighed. Leapardpaw was a good friend that he didn't want to lose. "Sorry... just saying that I can speck for myself." he said smiling and then turned to Troublepaw waiting for her answer. They were going to start soon.

"You mean think for yourself." He laughed, he loved how Robinpaw twisted his words. Everyone was in love but he got paired up with Twixpaw. He didn't want a mate, he wanted to be is own person and not fall in love and change.

Robinpaw walked over to Leapardpaw and flicked his tail on his ear, "Silly furball. Well always be friends." he said happily and started to walk over to a bush. Mouse. He followed it's trail and came into view of the tiny brown mouse. It's eyes were fixed on a nut. Robinpaw stalked over to it. The mouse didn't smell him. He was about five fox tails away. He jumped as far as he could, leaves sprayed as he shot into the air and pinned the mouse to the ground. Killing it with a bite to the it's spine. He walked out of the bush's with it in his jaws. He walked over to Troublepaw an smiled. He dropped his mouse in front of her paws. "My first catch of the contest." he said smiling.

"Hi everyone!" Frostpaw said as she happily trotted over to where everyone was gathered. She was excited about the contest, but nervous. Frostpaw wasn't exactly the best hunter...... No, I can't think like that if I want to win! She thought while shaking her head.
