A steady rain fell down, and fog engulfed the land. There, in the fog, stood a motionless figure. It was Fang, of the Dead Plains. The wind blew against his matted and bloody fur, and stung his wounds. He had still not recovered entirely from the Windclan raid, but he could not pass up an opportunity to defeat his enemy. So he stood where he was, among the wind and rain, waiting. Only one word rang through his head. Revenge. His piercing pale yellow eyes looked into the fog. He was looking for his enemy. Fang quivered in anticipation, ready to fight.
Revenge
Fang continued to look into the fog, waiting. He had failed to defeat his enemy at the Windclan raid so they agreed to meet here. Fang would not fail to defeat him this time. He continued to stare into the fog. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Fang would wait as long as he could for a chance to fight his enemy again. He was waiting to fight Blizzard.
Revenge
He opened his eyes as a familiar scent on the wind reached him. He looked into the fog and saw a shadow emerging. Blizzard...... He thought. Fang closed his eyes and smiled. He would not fail this time.
[OOC: This does not take place in clan territory. It takes place by the Thunderpath closer to the Twoleg farm.]

Hurricane slowly moved through the fog, her fur was matted against her skin, and water dripped from her whiskers. She looked up, and saw a shadow, and a pair of piercing yellow eyes staring at her.
She took in a slow steady breath, Blizzard, forgive me.... She looked up, the rain pelted into her eyes, she blinked away the droplets, and prepared to fight for her brother.
Hurricane padded up the hill, moving quietly through the fog and rain. Her light blue eyes glistened, but a sudden fear clutched her, I might die.... She looked into the eyes of her enemy, a killer. Hurricane couldn't tell if she was crying, or if it was the rain, or both. If I die, it'll be for Blizzard.
She took another a step, and met Fang's eyes, the fog hovered between them, making them look like hazy shadows. The wind suddenly blew her fur back, and lightening lit the air around them, Hurricane finally got a glimpse at her scarred and tattered enemy.
Hurricane growled from within her throat, I am not afraid! She crouched, and unsheathed her claws, her whole body began to shake, with fear, anticipation, and worry, that if she didn't kill Fang, he would somehow find Blizzard again.
She blinked away the rain, and listened to her heart beat, as it pounded through her body. Hurricane opened her mouth, and snarled, her eyes narrowed into slits, and she stared at the bright yellow eyes of Fang, waiting.

Fang saw a figure emerge in the fog, and he opened his mouth, taking in the scent of his enemy. He narrowed his eyes. Fang was immediately suspicious that this cat was not Blizzard. Hmmm.... This cat looks like Blizzard, but I have my doubts..... He thought. Fang recognized this cat from the Windclan raid, but still could not tell if the cat was Blizzard or not. Well, I will know soon enough. He thought while angrily flicking his tail.
Revenge
Fang took a deep breath, and smiled ever so slightly. "I can tell that you are afraid...." He paused and studied the cat's movements. "and I also have my doubts that you are Blizzard." He said angrily. The wind blew Fang's tattered and bloody fur, but he stood motionless, staring right back at the cat.
Revenge
The only word that was continuously running through his head was revenge. Fang laughed and narrowed his eyes at the cat again, and took a few steps closer to the cat, ready at any time to attack.....

Hurricane took a cautious step to the right, holding Fang's gaze. He's going to figure it out. He probably already knows that I'm not Blizzard. She growled, but it's too late now.
Hurricane tensed her back legs, lightening filled the sky, and lit their battlefield. The rain matted her fur against her skin, and the wind echoed in her ears. She took in another breath, his scent flooded her nose, and she licked her lips.
Then, Hurricane lunged off of the ground, and through herself at Fang, she landed on his back, and forced her unsheathed claws into his flesh. The rain began to pelt harder, and as she tried to climb futher onto his back, she slipped, and fell to the wet ground, mud splattered across her coat, and into her eyes.
Hurricane started to stand, and looked into the eyes Fang, she couldn't tell what he was thinking. Her paw slipped again in the mud, and she had to pick herself up again, and balance using her claws.

"Pitiful." Fang said quietly as he watched the cat slip in the mud. He took a closer look at the cat and angrily flicked his tail. "You are not Blizzard. But I recognize you from somewhere." He paused for a moment and looked at the cat again. "Hmm... you were there at the Windclan raid, and you seemed to know Blizzard. It appears you came in his place." Fang paused and laughed for a moment. "That decision will cost you your life."
Fang lunged at the cat and bit down on the cats neck, sinking his teeth in deep. He stepped back and said, "You should have not come in Blizzard's place." Fang unsheathed his claws and lunged at the cat again.

Hurricane panted as her air was momentarily cut off, she felt blood dripping out of the wounds on her neck, as Fang lunged at her again, she brought her claws across his face, and through him out of the air.
She took in a breath, "If Blizzard lives, then this will not be a waste. It...." She cringed as the rain stung her wounds, "It may be a high price to pay, but...it will be worth it, I hope." She stood up, and walked over to Fang. I will not die today...No, I will not.
Hurricane growled, and jumped on Fang, she dug her claws into his skin, and pulled, tearing a gash along his side. Then she jumped back, and glared at him, fury glowing in her eyes. Lightening struck from the sky, and lit the bloody battlefield, then thunder rippled through the clouds, and the rain poured down. The wind blew her fur around her, and she lashed her tail, as her emotions began to brew.

A ripple of pain was sent through Fang's body as he felt sharp claws dig into his skin. Fang stepped back quickly and said, "All of those times..." He took a pause and growled in anger. "I have felt pain induced by Blizzard... Will be avenged now..." The thunder boomed in Fang's ears, and lightning lit up Fang's menacing eyes. He growled deeply and lunged at the cat, his unsheathed claws aiming for the cats neck. Revenge was still the only word on Fang's mind.

Hurricane yowled as pain rippled through her neck, she squeezed her eyes closed, and panted, gasping for air. She turned and brought her claws across Fang's face, she took in a breath, and flinched as pain shot through her neck again.
Hurricane started to shake, she meowed helplessly, "Please...please" She cringed, and yowled in pain, "Please, let me go...." Is this it then...? I'm alone......is...this....it? She squeezed her eyes closed again, and her body started to shake even more violently. No, this cannot be the end. I will not......I will not leave it at this...I will not....
Hurricane glanced away, into the fog, and mist, and pouring rain, she saw.....a faint shadow, and a pair of glowing brown and forest green eyes. She gasped, but stopped herself from calling out, she hoped Fang wouldn't notice him. Blizzard, no, leave..... She took in another agonizing breath, and continued to watch the faint shadow. __________________________________________________________
Blizzard squinted through the fog and mist, lightening lit the sky and thunder boomed, and for just a split second, he saw the most devastating sight. Fang holding Hurricane, she was staring at him, her fur was matted, torn, and bloody. He growled, fury, and sadness ripped through his body. Why would she go in my place...When she knew she could die, I haven't done anything for her........Until now!
Blizzard snarled, Hurricane's eyes widened, and she opened her mouth, but nothing came out. Lightening struck again, the thunder crashed, making his body vibrate, and he jumped into a sprint. He ran up the hill, the rain had already soaked him through. Blizzard pulled his lips back over his teeth, and lunged at Fang, he landed on his back, and sunk his teeth and claws into his flesh.

"Why should I spare your life?" Fang said angrily to the cat that he was fighting. He prepared to bite down on her neck once more, but stopped when he felt a sharp pain in his back. Just then, when he opened his mouth to yell, he caught a new scent. Blizzard's scent. Despite his pain, he smiled and tossed the cat he had been fighting to the side. Fang growled and said, "You finally decided to show up. However, you are late. I almost killed your friend over there." The lightning illuminated the battlefield and gave an intimidating glow to Fang's eyes, making look even more menacing. Fang tossed Blizzard off of him and looked at him, his eyes full of hatred and fury. "Now, I will have my revenge." Fang lunged at Blizzard, and sunk his teeth into Blizzard's leg.

Hurricane mewed as she skidded across the ground, mud and blood splattered all across her fur, the rain continued to pour, and soak her. Thunder boomed, and she cringed as her body vibrated, and pain clawed it's way through her.
She opened her eyes and looked to Fang, he was crunching his sharp teeth into Blizzard's leg, and she gasped. No....don't...don't hurt....Blizzard.... She shook her head, and looked up into sky, ignoring the rain, as it pelted into her eyes. Please....help, Blizzard....please.....
Hurricane sighed, and mewed as her body stung, and she cringed, groaning. I am not going to end now....no, I am not...done. I am not. She closed her eyes, then opened them again, lightening struck, and lit the cats eyes, but then, her vision went black, and a numb feeling started to creep through her body. She could only hear, barely, the sounds of fury, and intense fighting.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Blizzard growled as pain stabbed into his leg, he tried to shake Fang off, but it was no use. He snarled again, "You hurt Hurricane! And now, you going to have to deal with the consequences!" Blizzard struck Fang in the face as hard as he could, and turned his neck, and dug his teeth into his chest.
Then he let go, and jumped away from Fang, he trotted to Hurricane, her eyes were closed, but her sides still rose and fell, she was alive. He rubbed his face against hers, his wet fur dripping, he murmured, "I'm sorry, Hurricane. You shouldn't have done this.......I'm so sorry..."
He shook his head, I should have been here sooner....I should have.......been here sooner. Blizzard growled, and turned to face Fang again, he crouched in front of Hurricane, he would not let any more harm come to her.

Fang clenched his teeth tight to prevent himself from yelling as sharp claws dug into his chest. "You will regret making an enemy of me, Blizzard!" He ran at Blizzard and raked his claws across his face. Fang was letting his anger consume him. His eyes burned with hatred, and only evil resided in his heart.
Fang closed his eyes and took a deep breath, calming himself. "Blizzard..... You might think that you are being a big hero, but you and your friend over there," Fang paused and flicked his tail in Hurricane's direction. "Will feel the wrath of my hatred." Fang growled deeply and lunged at Blizzard again.

Blizzard shook his head, scattering small drops of blood. The rain stung his wounds, and he cringed. And then lightening struck, and thunder blasted across the sky. Blizzard growled, and jumped to meet Fang in the air, he dug his claws into his neck, and pinned him to the ground, mud and water splashed, and he heard Hurricane groan. The wind blew his fur around him, and he growled, "You made a bad decision, Fang. You let your anger take you too far." He glared at him, and slashed his claws across his face, gashes formed, and a red puddle started to pool by Fang's head. And he hurt Hurricane. Who had nothing to do with this.
Blizzard moved closer to Fang's face, "Because I'm not cold hearted like you. I'm going to give you a chance." He searched his eyes, "I will let you go, and you can do whatever you want with yourself. But I never want to see you again. You must go far away, and if I do see you again, I may not be as nice as I am this time." He dug claws in further, "Now decide." Blizzard looked at Fang through his dripping lashes, and flicked his tail. ___________________________________________________________________________________
Hurricane's eyes shot open as thunder boomed again, Blizzard had Fang firmly pinned. Good..... He is okay....Blizzard....Is...Okay. She took in a breath, and closed her eyes, panting, pain holding her everywhere. She opened her eyes again, her vision was blurry, and rain pelted onto her, but she watched, hoping Blizzard would pull through.
Hurricane tried to move, but slipped, and fell back into the muddy, red puddle. She lashed her tail, I'm going to make it through this....I am... She took another breath, and sighed, then watched Blizzard.

The realization of what was happening hit Fang suddenly. He is right. I have let my anger take me too far. However, that does not mean I will back away from this fight. Now is my perfect opportunity to take revenge.... As soon as Fang's anger subsided a bit, he began to register what was happening. His anger had blinded him to his pain. If I had continued to fight like that, I would have been killed.
Fang shook his head and closed his eyes while saying, "You are right, in a sense. My anger was blinding me to my pain, and if that had kept up I would have died." Fang paused and laughed at the fact that his enemy might have just saved his life. "Be that as it may, I cannot agree to your proposal. I have waited too long for a perfect opportunity like this to take revenge on you." Fang took a deep breath, trying to calm himself as the wounds on his face stung. He smiled and glared at Blizzard, before sinking his teeth deep into his enemy's leg.

Blizzard ripped his claws from Fang's flesh, and shoved his face into the dirt, growling in pain, as blood trickled along his leg. He lashed his tail through the rain, and snarled, "You're going to regret making this decision, Fang! But if you want to keep your pride, and fight! Then so be it!" Blizzard clawed Fang's belly with his back legs, then jumped back, he crouched. He's making a foolish decision, but who am I to stop him.
Blizzard flexed his claws into the muddy dirt, and glanced over his shoulder at Hurricane, a muddy, wet and bloody lump laying in a puddle. His eyes softened, he knew he had to get her help soon. He faced Fang again, anger pulsed through him. Blizzard twitched his ears as lightning lit the sky, and thunder boomed. ________________________________________________________________________
Hurricane took in a quick breath, then yowled out in pain, her body shook, partly from the horrible pain she was in, but also from being cold, very cold. She clenched her teeth, and moved her legs closer to her, squeezing her eyes closed as numbness rippled through her.
She blinked the rain droplets out of her eyes, and looked at the shiny red liquid dripping out of her back. Blizzard..............help..............me. She started to feel faint, and dizzy, but she forced herself to keep her eyes open, and watch the horrific battle scene.

Fang cringed as claws dug into him. Glaring up at Blizzard, he yelled, "The reason I am here now has NOTHING to do with pride! It has everything to do with re...venge." Fang choked out the last word slowly, as if savoring that one word. That one word, that defined his purpose. That one word, revenge. "Both of you will regret the moment that you decided to show up here today!" Fang said, his tail twitching angrily.
Fang stood up and looked down at the ground. Taking a deep breath, he lunged at Blizzard, aiming his sharp claws at Blizzard's back.

Blizzard tried to claw himself out of the way, but Fang hit him full force. He crumpled to the ground, anf felt his shoulder snap, he growled in pain. Blizzard pushed, and tried to lift himself up, but he slipped in the mud, and crashed back to the ground again. No! I will not...lose.....NO!
Blizzard groaned, and unsheathed his claws, then slashed behind him, but struck nothing. Lightning lit the sky, and thunder crashed. Blizzard looked to where Hurricane had been laying, in a wet lump, but to his surprise, she wasn't there. He quickly looked behind him, then to both sides, he heard an angry growl. Then Blizzard saw a mass of white fur dart in front of him. Hurricane. "No! What are you doing Hurricane! Get away!" ___________________________________________________________________________________
Hurricane lunged at Fang, and ignored the wave of pain that rushed through her body. She growled, and dug her claws into Fang's back, then pulled him off of Blizzard. She dug her teeth into his scruff, then pulled him again. I'm not finished........
Hurricane shook the rain from her coat, then crouched, her eyes glowing. She growled, and looked to the sky.

Fang glared down at Blizzard, and over to where Hurricane was. ....! She's not there! He thought while frantically looking around. Just then, a sharp pain erupted through his body, and he opened his mouth to yell. Now, he realized where Hurricane was. Anger boiled in Fang's eyes, and he quickly threw Hurricane off. "I must admit, that was rather sneaky, but you shall pay for it." A rush of anger overcame Fang, and he lunged at Hurricane, aiming his sharp teeth at her neck.

Hurricane yowled in pain as sharp points dug into her neck, cutting her air off. She wriggled, and clawed, but her efforts only sunk Fang's teeth in deeper. She felt blood dripping out of her neck, and she could taste it in her mouth. Help.....Bli....Blizz....Blizzard......help.....m..me...
Hurricane felt herself go limp first, then her vision blurred, and went black, and slowly, her hearing faded, then there was nothing. Besides the cold, feeling, of being alone. ___________________________________________________________________________________
Blizzard rolled, and got up, then whirled to face Fang and Hurricane, "NO!" He growled, and pushed off the muddy wet ground, his paws sliding in the mud, Please be alive, please be alive! He pleaded in his mind, that Hurricane would live to feel the rain again.
Blizzard shook his neck, sending water droplets flying, then he opened his mouth, and snarled, his heartbeat throbbed through his body. Lightning flashed, and thunder rolled through the clouds, then Blizzard lunged off the ground, and flew toward Fang, he landed on his side, and shoved him to the ground, then dug his teeth into his neck, and ripped out a chunk of flesh.
He glanced to Hurricane, she hadn't moved. No....no, no, NO! Blizzard brought his claws back, then slashed them across Fang's face as hard as he could, the blow sent Fang tumbling down the side of the hill, and stained the water red. Blizzard watched silently, panting, and his eyes glowing.

Fang's l a s t sight...
Fang couldn't breathe. He couldn't talk. The word that defined his purpose, the word revenge, stopped running through his head. His vision went black, and the only thing he could feel was himself, steadily tumbling down a hill. Blood stained his coat, and dripped from the fatal wound on his neck. Fang was engulfed in absolute silence.
Fang landed in a pool of water, now stained red from his blood. Once he registered what was happening, he thought, There is no doubt about it. My life ends here. Fang opened his eyes one last time and looked up the hill at Blizzard. He gave him a look of absolute hatred. The last thing Fang heard was the thunder roaring in the sky, and the last thing he saw was Blizzard. Fang dropped to the ground, never to awake again.

Blizzard silently watched Fang lay there, a wet, muddy, and bloody lump. The rain continued to pour, washing away some of the blood. Blizzard watched the red streaks trickle down the hill, and pool next to Fang.
He shook his head, and glanced one more time at the body of the killer, then faced Hurricane. Now, to get Hurricane the help she needs. He padded through the muddy puddles, then stood over her motionless body. He leaned, and slowly licked the top of her head, she was cold...so cold. Blizzard nuzzled her neck, "Hurricane? Are....are you...okay?" He sighed, and looked over her torn and tattered body.
He looked over his shoulder, into the mist, and haze. Maybe I can take her to Windclan. I helped them, maybe they'll return the favor. Blizzard bent, and carefully lifted Hurricane onto his shoulders, then slowly made his way down the hill. He walked by Fang's body without even glancing in his dierection, then made his way quickly across the Thunderpath, and toward Windclan territory.
