Tawny thought hard about this, her heart was hitting her chest. She was once a RiverClan kit named Mosskit. Her mother was from RiverClan and her father was from ThunderClan. Her mother died from a battle with her father. He stole her from RiverClan and brought her to ThunderClan to her adopted family. She got a new sister Berrykit, her father died from a battle with WindClan. Brfore he left camp he told her the truth and she loved to river. She wanted to tell Lightstar but she never got to it. She looked at the river. It was sunset and the river looked like a wave of fire. It was calling to her, but what could she do. Should she join RiverClan or stay with ThunderClan? Her mind was full of thoughts. She looking at the river, she got up. She didn't care if any warriors were watching her. She purred as she got closer to the river, her paws wanted to go on but she stayed her she was. She lyed down watching the river go by.

The sky was beautiful, not cat could deny it, and StarClan knows which of their warriors sent him down to the place he was so envious of. His eyes caught of a familiar figure, whom he had quickly dismissed in his mind until he approached her. The she-cats faraway gaze told him something was wrong, and yet she was from a different Clan. His eyes narrowed and the tom padded towards the River, until his paws met with the foam edges of its surface. "So its you..." The wind blew over the water, and Lightstar blinked a little bit of the cool mist from his eyes. He recognized her expression as it was similar to the one he often got when he looked into a clear pool, making him think of his sisters. As the edge of the water began to calm, the RiverClan cat closed his eyes to imagine Foampaw. She would have made a wonderful warrior, he was certain of it...

Tawny looked up from the river, her green eyes followed Lightstar. She had to tell him, see what he thought. "Lightstar, I need to tell you something that I have been hiding. I am from RiverClan my mother was Yellowpetal a queen from her. My father is Leopardtail of ThunderClan I was stoled from RiverClan and now the river is calling me." She finish hoping he would remember her as a kit in the nursery.

Lightstar felt his ears flatten, of course only Dawnlight and a few of the senior warriors knew about the incident, but he felt a tugging in his belly at the fact that he didn't remember. "No... I don't. I'm assuming you wish to return to RiverClan, however..." He paused, and flicked his tail, "This is a big decision. You can become a part of RiverClan, but only if you think that this will be a permanent home. Go back; think about the things you will miss and say your goodbyes. If you still wish to come to my Clan, I expect to see you at the Gathering in two nights' time." The leader did not leave yet, his gaze fixed on the river which was slowly paling to a gentle red color. It was almost nightfall, and he was reminding even himself that the Gathering was coming up. Although, Lightstar had already decided what to announce there.

Tawny looked at Lightstar, what was it like in RiverClan? She would have to say good-bye to her friends and have to say hello to Dawnlight. "Lightstar, I don't know what to say, I have always loved the water but ThunderClan...They are my family so is RiverClan. I ask you Lightstar what do you think that I should do? I'll miss Coldpaw, and Leopardpaw. But I love the water. This is hard." She said walking in a circle.

He flicked his tail, wondering if she had even listened to a word he said. It was slightly annoying, but he ignored it. "I'm giving you two days to think it over." Lightstar closed his eyes and turned his back on the apprentice. He could imagine what she was going through; "If you have any doubt at all, no matter how little it is, stay in your own Clan." The choice would be better for a young cat. He stood up and padded away from the river, ignoring his senses tingling and the temptation to continue allowing the water to run over his paws. Finally, he submerged into the reeds beyond Tawny's vision.

"Okay, okay I'll think. This question I have to ask someone who's my friend and a cat that has been in RiverClan." She said to her self.

He did not dive in any further, flicking his tail to acknowledge the few words spoken to herself, before saying his goodbyes. "Good night, young one. May StarClan light your path." The leader turned away, prepared to go back to his own territory before I felt a nagging feeling in his belly again. His head shot back to Tawny, and the tom could have sworn he saw a flash of white fur, the hint of golden eyes. "Foampaw..." he muttered, before looking away again. Lightstat got to his paws and began padding away with his even strides. The tom's ears were flattened against his head, wondering if he had seen his own reflection on the river, or if she had really been there. StarClan could be so mysterious...
