Swanpaw bounded to Highstones, not waiting for Moonfang. She kept giggling to herself at what the cat from RiverClan, Jadeflower, had been talking about at the Gathering a few sunrises ago.
Jadeflower had been a kittypet, so she knew some Twoleg words, and Swanpaw's coat had reminded her of an animal they knew of called a panda, supposedly large, black and white monsters that ate trees. There was a black-and-white kittypet named Panda who lived near her Twoleg nest at the time.
And there was a movie about a "panda" where the big white creatures fought. This fighting was called "kung-fu."
So now Skysong had put it upon herself to uphold nicknames, which irritated Moonfang.
So when Swanpaw had had her mouth full of herbs during the WindClan incident, apparently whenever she said 'Moonfang,' it sounded like Minfung. So now Skysong and a few of Starpool's kits had started calling her Minfung, and now Swanpaw was Kung-Fu Panda.
Whenever any cat older than 6 moons called Moonfang "Minfung" they'd either get a beating or a glare from her single eye. Anyone younger would get a warm look, and after they had toddled off, Moonfang would mutter and curse about Skysong and her annoyingness.
((Yes I know this is fantastical, but come on! I couldn't resist.))

Dawnlight walked over to Swanpaw. She was a friend worth keeping and even when I was a Medicine cat. Me, well I was only 10 moons old. I am the first Medicine cat apprentice to be given my clan name at such as 10 moons. I knew ever thing that I needed to know, I think? I wonder if I would be a good mentor? I reminded myself that I was walking with Swanpaw and lost in a daze. I smiled at her. "Hi, Swanpaw!" I said happily. I could not wait to tell her what had happen in the past moon, that had changed my life.

Lilypaw was with Dappleclaw. She did not look towards Dawnlight; this was her first Medicine Cat Gathering. Smiling at Swanpaw, the apprentice padded ahead of the group. This would be good; she could see Longfeather again.

Swanpaw meowed a greeting to Lilypaw. She hadn't really gotten the chance to talk to her. "Hey there, Lilypaw!" she said, walking over to her.
She looked around. Something about HighStones felt ominous today. There were thunderclouds starting to roll in, and the remaining sunlight shone too bright, like a dying elder's last words.
Swanpaw's blue gaze swept over to the clearing of WindClan territory. It really was quite beautiful, WindClan. Swanpaw wished that ShadowClan was less marshy and more dry and free, like WindClan territory.

Moonfang padded behind Swanpaw, her one good eye watching the ground. Something terrible was going to happen, and she could feel it. She glanced up to the sky, mysteriously ominous. It was as if StarClan were warning them of something, but weren't quite sure what. She sighed and turned to the other Clans' medicine cats, trying to put on a good face despite the trouble looming above them. "Swanpaw is learning quickly," she purred, but her voice was distant, as she was focused on different things. "She's been a great help to me these past few moons."

Dawnlight looked over at Lilypaw. "Hows things in Thunderclan?" she asked and turned to Moongfang at what she had said. Dawnlight herd the way Moonfang had said the words. She sounded distant and worried. "Is something wrong?...."she asked, then looking up at the sky she knew what it was. "I have a bad feeling about this..." Her voice was cut off by a cat yelling a battle cry.
(Very random, sorry. I wanted to make is interesting.)

Swanpaw nodded. "Something's brewing." she meowed, walking up next to her mentor. She looked up at the sky again. The clouds were roiling, and she swore that she saw fighting cats in the maelstrom.
"Moonfang." she whispered quickly. "I think we're in big trouble."

Moonfang's eyes grew distant as her voice trailed away. She didn't look down to her apprentice, but merely spoke. "I agree. We should hurry, we might not have much time." she meowed, loud enough for the other medicine cats to hear. Her pace grew to a steady trot, waiting for Swanpaw to catch up, then she sprinted towards Mothermouth as fast as she could run. Among the clouds were figures, whether it was her imagination or not. It could just as easily be StarClan than a simple coincidence of cloud formations. Whatever it was, it scared her. The ShadowClan medicine cat's fur bristled as a roll of thunder began, though there was still some light streaming through the clouds. She ran faster, feeling as though she could fall and crash into something at any given moment. So this is what a WindClan cat feels like? she thought randomly, sheer terror clouding all important thoughts until her mind was just a jumble of randomness. I think I'd prefer to stick to ShadowClan.

Swanpaw ran as fast as she could, so fast that she thought she might be sick. Now that she thought about it, being a ShadowClan cat suited her just fine.
She clambered down to the cavern, gulping cool air down her lungs.

Dawnlight raised after them. She stopped at the Mouth of the cave. She looked up at the sky. The clouds were forming into figure's of fighting cats. Starclan! she thought and ran down into the carven. She let her whiskers take her. She knew something was coming, only problem was she didn't know what. The stone beneath her paws felt damp. The air smelled Fresher, she was close to the entrance to the cave.

Swanpaw's head snapped around frantically in the caves. The light danced and flickered on the Moonstone, but this time it made her blood run cold. Pictures were formed by the flickering light. Rats. They swarmed at cats, and she heard a panicked yowl. Everything was flickering blood-red, and strange words echoed in her ears.
