Love is like soft feathers
That beat you with
Hard fists.
Once it's cold fingers are on you
It's impossible to resist
It eats you alive
And brings you back
And you recover
Wait
For its next attack.

It's okay, Chacha!
It doesn't have to rhyme!
It could be a Haiku, for example, which is more about syllables.
Five syllables here
Then seven in the middle
Then another five
That was a haiku!

This just came to mind. It's like a prophecy that happened in Hunted.

That is an excellent haiku.
Here's one of mine:
The pain of loneliness
Strums the strings
Of my wounded
Heart
Playing a melody
Of woe
Only heard by my ears
Yeah, I was kind of depressed for awhile when I wrote that.
