Returning [Silentstar and Moonfang.]

Shadeclaw walked into the camp, and trotted to the middle of it. He paused there to take a break, then he shook himself, and padded toward his leader's den.


Snow was still dancing from the sky, so Shadeclaw had to squint his eyes as he peered into it. "Silentstar? May I speak to you?"


He backed up a few steps, then sat. A slight sting shot up his wound, but he swallowed, and ignored it. Ugh, I need Moonfang's herbs now... He blinked, and shook his head, But I'm a warrior, that can wait. I have other things to take of right now. Shadeclaw wrapped his tail around his paws, and waited.

SilentStar had just gotten the chance to lay down; Even though he was the leader of ShadowClan the cat was still the oldest of all in the forest and he released a low growl in his throat as ShadeClaw came too.

The feral feline rose back to his feet and trotted towards ShadeClaw slowly.

"Speak."

That was all the leader managed to push out before blood dripped swiftly from his muzzle to the ground below. He had ran out of herbs to chew on and his tongue looked mushed with grime and blood.

The dark coated leader kneading his paws into the ground for comfort to the bone as he awaited his warrior to speak.

Shadeclaw dipped his head slightly and murmured, "Forestsong left. It took.... Some effort." He glanced at the gash on his side, "But she was pretty far from the border when I turned around to come back to camp."


He waved his tail in a circle, and flinched. "I don't think she'll be messing with us for awhile." He blinked slowly, and stood, "Please, don't think I'm trying to be rude, but could you please tell me where Moonfang is?" He twitched snow off of his ears and whiskers, then shook himself, sending a throbbing pain up his side. I will not appear weak in front of my leader... Shadeclaw narrowed his eyes, and swallowed the pain.
