Copperpaw looked at Driftstorm, what would she teach him? All he knew about her was that she came from another clan far away where she got kicked out. He smiled to his self, he would learn ways that no other cat in any clan knew but him and Driftstorm. He looked over to Firepaw and grinned. He wiggled his left ear at him and Firepaw smiled.

Firepaw looked at his poor sister Riversoul, he went over and gently licked her head. He then looked back over to Copperpaw and saw him wiggle his ear. He went over to him and whispered,
"Oh yeah, I got th deputy of RiverClan, I wounder why no one is Lightstar's apprentice."

"How about you decide?"She suggested. A Warrior should know the best thing to start with. He gave her the choice to make, but She would rather have him make the desicion. She wondered how the territories would look like. Or even how to catch even the trickest fish in the river, or even the best fighting moves to use in a battle. She had thoughts running throught her head of the possible things she'd learn from her mentor. Her ears flickered with excitement and wonder as she waited for a reply from Milkydew.

Featherpaw had watched the ceremony and was a bit surprised to see that Milkydew was becoming a mentor. He hadn't told her that! She felt a little hurt but then she remembered they hadn't talked recently. She had been doing too much training and things like that. Still, she supposed she could have found out somehow if she'd bothered trying. Anyway, she should probably go talk to him. She bounded over to him, where he was conversing with his new apprentice. She waited for Echopaw to finish talking and then smiled at them both.

"Congratulations Milkydew! You're going to be such a great mentor for Echopaw. He's the best," she said enthusiastically, directing the last bit to the young apprentice.

[Crowy]

"Alright then. I think I'll show you the territories first, just so you get a feel of who's who in the forest." Milkydew grinned as Featherpaw bounded over. He smiled at her as she spoke. "Thanks Featherpaw. Do you wanna come with us? I'm sure your mentor won't mind much. I mean, you've been taught about the other clans recently. I've gotta remember everything," he laughed.

Riddlepaw frowned. Her mentor Riverflame had not to talk to her. She sat there and blinked away a small tears. She was hoping it was not followed by any others. She hadn't seen Riveflame for some time and she started to wonder. She would follow her sister and brothers mentors. She was very close to crying and she didn't want anyone to see it. She walked un noticed behind the Medicine cats den and ran into the reeds. She was thankfully hidden.

(Poor Riddlepaw! )

Driftingstorm walked over to Riddlepaw with a kind smile on her face.
"Riddlepaw, why don't you come with me and Copperpaw to the river and try fishing, I'm sure you'll be good at it." She purred.

Riddlepaw felt much better. She sniffed and said "Thankyou!" and walked over to Copperpaw.

[Riverflame]

(( Gah, sorry!!! Busy busy busy! To make up for Riverflame's disappearance, I shall get her into a bit of trouble. xD ))

A spotted brown pelt was all that could be recognized as Riverflame raced into camp.
"Sorry! Sorry I'm-" she yowled, but she cut herself off as she skid to a stop only a tails-length away from Driftingstorm. Her ears flattened against her head as she noticed the many disapproving looks from other cats. With a sigh, she straightened and paused a moment to catch her breath. Her pelt was dripping wet from her endeavor only moments ago.
Once she could speak clearly, she blinked apologetically to Riddlepaw.
"I'm so, so sorry, Riddlepaw," she mewed. "I'd been told earlier about the ceremony, but I went hunting and lost track of time... I was at the river when Lightstar called, but I was fishing and... well..." she paused as she noticed how terrible it sounded, truth or not. I'm such a mousebrain! she thought angrily, shaking the last droplets of water from her fur. With another sigh, she continued. "Look, the bottom line is this: I was fishing and didn't hear the call. But I'm here now, and I never had a chance to collect my kill when I noticed how late it was getting and ran here. So if you'd like, we can go out, work on a bit of hunting, and come back with everything we catch collectively. Sound okay?" she purred, hoping it would smooth everything over if she skipped over the boring territory tour for the time being. She knew from what she heard from the newer apprentices that they'd prefer just to skip it altogether, but if she didn't show the young she-cat early, they would both be in trouble later on.

Riddlepaw jumped joyfully and smiled "I'd love too!" she mewed. "I'm so glad your my mentor!" she mewed even more excitedly. At least her mentor was here.

Featherpaw smiled shyly at Milkydew and joined in when he laughed. "Good point. Of course I'll come with you! If you don't mind, that is, Echopaw," she said, acknowledging the younger cat while buzzing with excitement. She could show Milkydew how great a warrior she was and how knowledgeable she had become. She wasn't just an apprentice now; she was nearly a warrior and he should be able to appreciate that.

Firepaw walked over waiting for his mentor, after a few moments he gave up and went over to the other apprentices with their mentors. His blue eyes lit up as he heard laughter. He looked around and saw Featherpaw, did she have any good tricks or hints about being an apprentice? He then looked around again and saw Riddlepaw but she didn't want to see him so he looked back over to Milkydew.
"Is there anyway that I can come, I guess Tinyfang is busy or something." He asked smiling at them.

"Alright"She said to her mentor before turning to Featherpaw. "I have a feeling of that, I know he has the best techinique"She meowed at her with a smile.
