(ooc: I apologize for this being late. School = eating up computer time.) Lightstar heaved himself up from his resting place, and shook himself to get the blood flowing through his veins, pausing a moment to wait for his brain to function properly. He blinked and padded outside, examining the sky to make sure he hadn't slept for too long.
The leader confirmed this with a content flick of his tail tip, and continued until he was outside of his den and located in the very center of camp. The sky was fairly dark; but, sun fall had yet to happen. After a moment of the tom's golden eyes surveying the camp to check on the warriors, along with a head count, Lightstar opened his jaws. The first thing that emitted from the tom's throat was a yawn, followed by his powerful yowl. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather in the center of camp for a Clan meeting!"
The white furred tom waited for the cats to gather, glancing at the nursery with a swift nod. Musefaith's kits were six moons of age, the only thing left to consider were the mentors, although Lightstar believed he had made valid choices. |

Copperkit walked outside and yawned, he hated getting waken up all the time for meetings but this was his day until he became a warrior. He looked around the camp and blinked, it was getting colder everyday and he did not like the cold at all. He looked around again trying to find Firekit, he was the same age as him so why wasn't he here with him.
Firekit jogged around the camp, he loved the morning. He jogged around camp everyday in the winter to not get too much fat. He didn't sleep so much these days, his dreams were filled with evil laughter and coldness. Today would be a cold one and looking up at the sky, snow a bit too. He walked over to Copperkit and smiled. They ended up grinning at each other in the end.
(I also think it's time for Firekit and his sick sister.)

Echokit poked her head out of the nursery at the sou nd of Lightstar before stepping out fully. She noticed Firekit and copperkit. "Wow."She meowed amused. it was fairly amusing to see what would go on between those two. She looked around as many different cats gathered aroun. Today was about her and her siblings.

Riddlekit looked around the back of the nursery. Her eyes were filled with excitement. Even though, her mother Milkpoppy gave her kits to a queen of Riverclan, they welcomed her with opens hearts. She laughed at the thought of having anything beter then becoming an apprentice. Yet there was better things like becoming a warrior, having an apprentice, and falling in love. She looked around for her friend Firekit and could not see him anywhere. Since she came to Riverclan, Firekit had been the first to be her friend. "Our day..." she whispered.
She padded out from behind the tree and walked over and sat beside her brother Copperkit.

Copperkit looked side-ways to Riddlekit then looked away slowly. If their mother truly loved then then why were they here?
"Hey Firekit, do you know what your dad was like? I mean, you have your mom but what does it feel like you could of had a different life?" Copperkit asked looking at his friend.
Firekit thought for a moment then turned back to his friend.
"I don't know anything about my dad Copperkit, and I'm glad I'm in RiverClan. Cats wanted to kill my mom, those cats were her friends. This is the life for me, I have friends that I know that I can trust and also cats who would protect me from. . . them." He mewed looking down.

[Lightstar doesn't know they're Milkpoppy's kits. As far as he knows, they're Musefaith's.]
Musefaith purred. the kits she had been caring for were going to be made apprentices! She was so happy. "Come here you three." She meowed, grabbing Riddlekit by the scruff and licking her down. "Down want to be all messy for your new mentor, do we?" She purred, moving on to Echokit.

Riddlekit side stepped when Musefaith was dun with her. "Mom!" she said. She was used to saying mom a few moons ago in the time she had lived in Riverclan.

"watch the fur!"she meowed at Musefaith. "but you're right, clean fur is a good thing"Echokit said as she scanned the area. So many cats. she was going to finally be able to go out into the forest, do some training. everything, she couldn't wait

Copperkit looked at Musefaith with his copper eyes. Just for a second in the reflection of his eyes you could see Cinder killing Copperclaw. He blinked again and they changed back into his coppery eyes. He smiled and looked down. This was his day and he would start his training to be an RiverClan apprentice. He looked over to Firekit and nodded his head.
Firekit smiled, he turned to look for his mother but couldn't see her in sight. Where was she these days? He let out a sad whimper then looked over to find Riddlekit. He watched her graceful walking and felt a shiver go through his back. He purred as Riddlekit wined about Musefaith cleaning her fur.
"These days, I'm glad that I don't have to put up with you Riddlekit. You always got in trouble and blame the next for ever thing. I couldn't stand your trash Riddlekit." He purred stepping away from Riddlekit.
((I only called Riddlekit trash because my teacher, (who is really cool) called her team trash. Now she trying to call my team something, but so far. . . All she could think was dogs.))

"Huh?"Echokit looked towards Riddlekit and Firekit.She shook it out of her mind soon after. "Hey Firekit, who do you think your mentor will be?"She asked. "what about you guys?"She askec Copperkit and Riddlekit. One of the best things about becoming an apprentice was the thought of who your mentor was going to be, they each were different with training and personality, so you'd never know until it was revealed.

Riddlekit snarled playfully at Firekit. "Don't ruin my day please?" she asked and turned her back on him and walked over to Echokit. "I hope I get a mentor who can teach me good." she said and spotted Riverflame near by. She would love for Riverflame to be her mentor. Only Riverflame and Musefaith new who her mother and father were. She looked back at Echokit and smiled. "I don't know yet who it might be. What about you?" she asked and waited. She caught site of Firekit and snorted. She wouldn't forget was he called her ever. "Trash? huh?" she whispered silently so no one could here.

"I'm not sure. All the warriors are so well-trained"She sighed. There were so many warriors that could be her mentor. They all seemed so smart when it came to her.

Driftinfstorm walked over to her kit and growled.
"Drake. . . I mean Firekit! Stopping talking that way and clean that mud out of your fur. Really, your about to see your leader and you need to respect him." She yelled.
She turned around and smiled at Musefaith.
"Hello Musefaith, my! Your daughter look so beautiful and look at miss Echokit, she has your eyes." She purred.

Riddlepaw walked over to Firekit and whispered so his mother Driftingstorm would not here. "Drake? I like it." she teased and brushed her tail over Firekits mussel and smiled teasingly and walked back over to her Mother Musefaith.

Firekit growled at Riddlekit and look back up to his mom.
"Mom, you know not to call me Drake anymore, even if that's my true name I'm suppose to be called Firekit." He said softly.
He turned around and started cleaning his fur, then he remembered that Copperkit was still here. He looked over to Copperkit and blinked- their special way of talking to each other.
Copperkit nodded and went over to Firekit and helped clean his fur. His thoughts drifted off to hunting and swimming.

Echokit sighed. Firekit had been on edge today. and Riddlekit was making it worse. She padded over to Copperkit and Firekit. "You ok?"She asked Firekit. he seemed annoyed when Riddlekit was around him. She wondered if Copperkit noticed it too. She looked towards the two for an answer. She looked back towards Riddlekit. Did she like Firekit?
((Riddlekit! Not riddlepaw! We haven't even started. Second time I had to say that.))

Riddlekit glared at Echokit and said "Grrr. Why is Lightstar not starting!?" She growled. She was trying her best to stay away from Copperkit and Firekit. Ever since Firekit and her had left camp in the middle of the night, he had changed. He was always worse the next day. She decided she was not to borther and looked hopfully up at Lightstar.

Firekit looked back up at Echokit, his pupils on the small side. He smiled but in no emotion.
"I feel OK, but I just not getting enough sleep I guess." He answered.
He looked back over to Riddlekit but he saw something in her, what was wrong? He wonder looking around at the cats getting out of their dens.
((Um. . . Firekit never changed after they left camp, can you please stop posting stuff I never wrote?))

Lightstar looked down at the kits, a slight grin on his face. Which one to do first?
"Riddlekit, you are ready to start upon the life of a warrior, but before you receive your warrior name, you shall receive your apprentice name and be trained by one of our warriors. I name you Riddlepaw.
"Riverflame, you have shown great courage and strength in your day to day basis. You are loyal and thoughtful, and I'm sure you can pass on all these qualities to Riddlepaw.
"Echokit, you are ready to start upon the life of a warrior, but before you receive your warrior name, you shall receive your apprentice name and be trained by one of our warriors. I name you Echopaw.
"Milkydew, you are ready for your first apprentice. You have fought off foxes, tresspassers, and more. Your strength is unmatched in heart and body. I'm sure you can pass on these qualities to Echopaw.
"Copperkit you are ready to start upon the life of a warrior, but before you receive your warrior name, you shall receive your apprentice name and be trained by one of our warriors. I name you Copperpaw.
"Driftingstorm, as your kits are now apprentices, I believe you are ready to train Copperpaw, in both the way you were trained, and our way, for yours may be of advantage in the future.
"Firekit, you are ready to start upon the life of a warrior, but before you receive your warrior name, you shall receive your apprentice name and be trained by one of our warriors. I name you Firepaw.
"Tinyfang, my deputy shall take on Firepaw. You have shown undying loyalty in all fields, and you are a brilliant deputy and friend to me." the tom paused, and looked down at Driftingstorm's other kit. She was blind and deaf, and probably not amount to anything. He sighed inwardly.
"Driftingstorm, bring Riverkit here," she did so. "In front of your warrior ancestors, they see that you may not be able to become a warrior. Instead, I shall spare you from being bullied by fellow apprentices, so you may join the elders. Riverkit, I name you Riversoul, for no matter that you are disabled, you still are part of the soul that makes up our clan."
Milkydew grinned as he walked over to his first apprentice, Echopaw. "So, Echopaw, what would you like to do first? Learn about the territories, learn to fight, or to hunt?

Riddlepaw leaped with happyness and smiled. She looked at Echopaw and said "Congrats!" she ran over to her first mentor, Riverflame. "What are we going to do today?" she asked and waited. She was shaking because it had gotten even colder.
