Emberpaw sifted through deep blue waters, hoping for something to put in the den. She was eager now. she had already found a string that was sparkly and cold like a tiny snake, another yellow circle with a mini moonstone, and a mini moonstone on a hook today. she heard something shift behind her.

Firepaw was walking to the river for some fishing when he heard Emberpaw slashes around in the water. He smiled and walk, and half paddles over to her.
"So. have you found anything cool?" He asked looking around.

Riddlepaw shoot to through the water for air. She had followed Emberpaw silently and so far she had stayed under the water for longer then any apperntice. As soon as she saw Firepaw she growled. "Why are you here?" she asked him half willingly. She smiled at Emberpaw and showed her what she had found. A tiny green moonstone on a circle like thing.

Emberpaw groaned. "Can't we all be friends?" she showed them her findings anyway. "Have you ever seen anything like these?" she mewed, annoyance forgotten.

Firepaw looked at Riddlepaw, he tilted his head to the side like a puzzled child. But he soon was under the spell of the beautiful thing that Emberpaw had found. He wanted to bite it. He started nibbling on it, but when he looked back up at Emberpaw he stopped.
"Sorry, I just had to try." He said smiling at Emberpaw.

"Aren't they cool?" Emberpaw mewed. "Let's put them in our den. Anyway, where do you think they came from? I've only seen one other thing like it, and Longfeather said it was from twolegs.. what do you think?"

Riddlepaw looked at Emberpaw. Who was Longfeather. There foster mother never tould her about a cat named Longfeather. "Okay!" she mewed.
