Beautiful Blackbirds... (Open.)

Skypaw wandered through the marshes, feeling adventurous. A strong wind glided through her fur, forcing her to close her eyes to the power of nature. It was a beautiful Spring day, the tall grasses swaying in the bright sunlight. Skypaw closed her eyes, listening.

She could hear so many things... the wind pushing through the trees, the tiny sound of a mouse nibbling on a seed somewhere to her left, and the rustling of feathers...

Her eyes fluttered open, a sudden calm radiated off of her. A huge blackbird, bigger than her, sat in front of her. Its large, intelligent, beady eyes were focused on her and only her.

What the...?

Skypaw took a hesitant step towards the bird, unsure if she should kill it. She made a quick decision in her head and lunged. This thing could feed the whole Clan!

But the blackbird was faster than Skypaw, and took off into the sky. The blackbird had, unknown to Skypaw, been standing at the edge of a cliff and Skypaw tumbled down.

The last thing Skypaw remembered before blacking out was beady, black eyes.

A cream-furred cat was out hunting. Who was she? Creamtail.She was also known as one of the past medicine cats. Dawnlight's mentor had sudden vanished and soon after that, she was made the medicine cat suddenly to train Dawnlight. She trained Dawnlight or Dawnpaw at the time, and time soon caught up with them. She was made Dawnlight and soon Creamtail reutned to being a warrior. She missed her warrior status and duties. and now...she could return to them and stay like that. Anyways. The she-cat warrior was staying silent and watching the movement of prey.She was waiting for them to let down their guard before she would leap at them.

She had noticed a water vole den a while ago. This was one of the few hunts she went on after returning back to a warrior. She noticed the water vole come out of it's den, staying alert. She crouched as the piece of prey made it's way farther out. Soon it was fully outside. Creamtail lept and landed close of the watervole. With a single attack, she brought down the water vole. Leaning down to pick it up, she noticed a bundle of fur...wait fur? "What could it be?"She thought as she picked up the killed water vole and padded towards the bundle of fur.

When she got closer, she noticed it was a cat. Not just any cat. Skypaw. What was the current medicine cat apprentice doing here? She set the vole down as she nudges the apprentice with her nose gently. She was trying to wake her up. After all, she wanted to hear why the apprentice was out here, plus the fact that she wasn't awake. "Skypaw....Skypaw? Wake up."The she-cat's gentle voice said.

Silverdust walked over. "Cream-" she asked worried. Then she saw teh she-cat that Creamtail was trying to awake. "Skypaw!" she said.

"Wha..? What happened?" Skypaw sat up, looking around. "Where am I?" She stared at Creamtail and Silverdust. Skypaw jumped backwards. "Who are you?" She tried to remember anything. "Who am I?"

Silverdust was confused. "Skypaw? Medicine cat apperntice?" she shock her head. "Dawnlight anit gona like this..." she muttered.

Skypaw looked around, all she could see in her mind was a blackbird. "Skypaw? Really? Thats an odd name. Who is Dawnlight?" She stood, stumbled, and fell.

Silverdust helped her Skypaw up. "Your Skypaw, remember?" Silverdust sized and licked Skypaws ear. "Dawnlight is the Medicine Cat of Riverclan." she answered.
