Chatter started up again, but soon died down. Although he had not fully taken thought to what he would be saying, the tom knew it was something he would have to bring up. Better now than later, "...As many of you know the former medicine cat, Longfeather, has disappeared." It seemed wrong to say he had gone to StarClan, since his death had not been confirmed and no cat had recieved word from him as part of their ancestors. "We must also realize that, though Dawnpaw is a very good apprentice, she is not experienced enough to take on her full name yet. Until she is ready, RiverClan will need a cat to stand-in." He allowed those words to soak in, before his eyes swept the crowd of cats again, and rising tension kept that dramatic pause.
"The temporary Medicine cat will be..."
*Cutting off here because I don't know, is it Creamtail or Musefaith? I personally think Musefaith should be it but Crowstar is already a leader. |

Silentbreeze hung on every word. Why did Lightstar alway hold for dramatic effect. He should really just spit it out and let the Clan know. Oh, why did he have to be so difficult?

"Maybe it was just to make sure the cat she chose was the right choice." Silentbreeze whispered to Sunpaw.
The she-cat looked around the camp for Creamtail. Being medicine cat, even a temporary one, was a big deal and a good accomplishment at that.
A lot had been done that night, two positions were filled and the Clan was once again.. Balanced, in a way. The patrols would be managed, the sick cats healed. And.. Well, everyone would carry on with their lives. The only ones that were directly affected were Tinyfang and Creamtail. It was rather odd as it occurred to the she-cat, but she soon thought nothing of it.

Dawnpaw knew she was not experstented anough to take on the roll of a Medicine cat, but it was only temporly. She wanted to know what she would learn next, but she new it was going to be intersting.
"Lilykit, do you care to join me, to go congraulate Creamtail?" she asked the littlekit.

Musefaith flexed her claws. It was a surprise to her, Musefaith had so much more experience in being a medieince cat. 'His loss if all the cats start dropping dead.' Musefaith sighed, padding away.

Lilykit shook her head. "I'm tired. I'll go to the nursery and sleep..." She smiled, looking over at Musefaith. She was so moody.

Dawnpaw looked at the little kit as she padded away. Dawnpaw knew that Lilykit was a little tired after all the things that happened today. "Alright, go and rest and I'll have a look at your brother." she called after Lilykit and walked over to Creamtail.
"Congratulation about being the trempery medicine cat." she said as she walked over to Creamtail. "So, what are we going to learn next?" she asked.

"Thanks Creamtail, your going to be a great Medcinie cat." she said to her new mentor. She started to follow Creamtail to the Medcinie cats den when she remembered what her old mentor said, 'Light will fall from the star and Blood will cover the moon...' she thought, would she tell Creamtail about her message?
