Cherry couldn't help but let out a quiet laugh at Amberstar's choice for a last question. She didn't mean it in any disrespect, but the question... she just couldn't take it too seriously. "Yes, I do," she mewed, and unsheathed the claws on her right forepaw. They were slightly worn down from climbing and running for the last few weeks, and one was torn and healing, but they were there all the same. A thought occurred to the loner. Amberstar's last question for her... it seemed so odd and random for the moment, but after a moment of thought, it made sense. Was she asking her if she had lived with humans? Was it just a random worry, or could she really tell that Cherry wasn't born in the wild? The she-cat shook her head as if to shake away the thoughts. She would tell Amberstar why she was wandering, soon, but not around all these other cats. She was sure to be taunted enough; why make it that much worse by bringing her old life into question?

Amberstar nodded. "Good. Cherry, if you are to stay here, I must give you a warrior name. You will have this name as long as you are in clan territory."
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around me for a clan meeting." Amberstar assumed that most of them were out already, watching the whole thing.

Cherry tilted her head to the side curiously, wondering what Amberstar meant. Did this mean that Cherry was no longer her name? It would take some getting used to, but she was fine with it. She watched as the leader called the Clan, and she glanced around as the cats milled around her in anticipation. It made her nervous, wondering how the other cats would react to her staying.
Owlfeather opened one eye from where she was resting. A Clan meeting? Now? For what? She stood and padded out, then recoiled as she saw that the newcomer, Cherry, was still here. Her eyes gleamed. Perfect. She trotted over to the loner and butted her shoulder in mock-playfulness. "Well, well, well," she mewed. "Looks like I'll have a new friend to play with."

Aspenleaf looked at Owlfeather. "Leave Cherry alone. She's frightened enough as it is." Aspenleaf looked at Cherry. "Don't mind Owlfeather, she's weird." she whispered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Falconheart trotted up to the new cat, and nudged her playfully with her black nose. "Hey there newbie. I'm Falconheart." She looked up at Aspenleaf, and chuckled. "Yeah, Owly's pretty messed up."

"Owlfeather, why don't you join me for dawn patrol tomorrow?" Mosseyes growled. The she-cat was glad that Cherry could stay with WindClan. The loner didn't seem like she could handle it, at least in this condition.
Hopefully, the nursery won't mind the newest member. And that the other queens will be welcoming.
The brown tabby padded over to take a seat to watch the ceremony. Amberstar hadn't named a warrior in a while, well at least from what she could keep track of.... ...

Owlfeather sneered at Mosseyes, moving over to hiss at her. "Of course. I could use some fur to line my nest." she spat, and walked towards the back of the camp, swishing her tail across the deputy's muzzle as she went.
Cherry stared at the ground, eyes wide and worried. Her ears were flat and her tail kept swishing anxiously. "I noticed..." she mumbled in reply to the two other warriors. She turned her head back to Mosseyes. "What do I do?" she mouthed, nodding to where Ambster stood. She had never heard of the Clans, so she had no idea if there was some sort of special thing you did when you were accepted into one.

Mosseyes ignored Owlfeather. She could wait till later.
The warrior raced back to where Cherry was, to answer her silent plead. Though she thought it was "What to I to?' Though, it most likely was "What do I do"
"Once Amberstar pronounces your name, she will rest her muzzle on your head, when she does that, lick her shoulder to show respect." she mewed quickly to the loner.

Cherry tilted her head to the side curiously. What an odd thing to do! She turned back to star at the ground, flicking her tail to show that she understood. Her forepaw scored a few nervous scratches in the ground to respond to the slight hostility that still lingered in the air. She felt like yowling to them all, I understand, I'm different than you! I wasn't forest-born! I'm not a Clan cat! I know all that, so stop reminding me! But instead she merely ducked her head miserably, refusing to look around and see which cats were sending the hostile waves of energy towards her.

Amberstar growled at Owlfeather. "Owlfeather, go join Ghostwind with the apprentice duties. You are also sleeping with him in the apprentice den for a while. Go."
The leader addressed WindClan. "We have a newcomer to this clan. This is Cherry, and she will be staying as long as she wishes. She's pregnant, and will birth and take care of her kits in WindClan. You will be respectful to her, as she is your clan-mate. Ask Ghostwind and Owlfeather about the punishments otherwise. For the time being, she will be given a warrior name. Cherry, as long as you stay in clan territory, your name will be Cherryfall. May StarClan light your path, and may you serve your clan while you stay."
Amberstar smiled at Cherryfall with her eyes, and joined the crowd.

Aspenleaf smiled at Cherry. "Cherryfall! That's lovely!" Aspenleaf thought that it fit Cherry well. Amberstar was good at picking names. She dropped back a little to talk to Falconheart. "Eesh, Owlfeather asked for it, didn't she?" she said, her eyes glittering, as if she was laughing through her eyes.

Owlfeather glared at Amberstar. Apprentice duties? With that mangy mouse-brain, Ghostwind? She shook her head angrily before stalking off towards the apprentice den, shoving anyone that happened to be in her way.
Cherryfall looked up to Ambsterstar, eyes shining, only the slightest trace of worry left. Her new name... it would take her a while to get used to it, but she liked it. It was as if this was literally a new life, even if it wasn't permanent. She dipped her head gratefully to the she-cat, Aspenleaf. At least most of the cats here would treat her the same. On the other hand... she made a mental note to keep away from Owlfeather, and Ghostwind as well.
(( Owlfeather=Mousedung. xD Nice punishment Amberstar!! Woot! x3 Okay... *makes mental note to call Cherry Cherryfall from now on or until she leaves WindClan* lol. ))
