The lack of moonlight wasn't even the slightest sign of shadows even for the upcoming ceramony, with the Clan is a good mood since the birth of kits, things had been quite peaceful. The scent of rain clouds lingered through the night air and made the white fur of the leader plaster to his skin. With soft pawsteps he entered the center of camp and glanced around to see how many cats were about and active. His eyes traveled to the nursery and lingered for a moment before he took the position in the center of camp. He looked over to see if the queen was ready for the ceramony, before he began.
Lightstar opened his jaws wide and cried out in the middle of the night, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather in the clearing for a Clan meeting!" He relaxed his throat and waited for the cats of RiverClan to form around him for the ceramony.
He yawned and his gaze traveled to the warriors den, expecting that some cats would have to be roused from sleep in order to take part in the Clan's gather. The tom himself did not have enough energy to stay awake for more than a day, and expected to be sleeping in the next morning. The apprentices, kits now of course, would probably be sleepless with excitement. |

Blazefang padded into camp after his meeting with Hazelcloud. His mind was still transfixed upon the beautiful she-cat, so he was staring into space as he sat down, Musefaith joining him.
"Where have you been?" Musefaith purred. Balzefang shrugged. "You stink of garlic. Not doing something against the warrior code, are we?" Musefaith chuckled. Blazefang felt his hair stand on end. She was already suspiscious? No... She couldn't be... She was just a silly she-cat.

Creamtail padded up to join the crowd of cats, She and Dawnpaw had been quite busy and they didn't take in notice of the news travelling around the clan

Riverflame padded out of the warrior's den, followed by Daywing. The two she-cats were going to go hunting, and bring another warrior and maybe an apprentice with them. But first they paused to listen to Lightstar.
"What could it be?" Daywing murmured, eyes never leaving the leader.
"Kits of course," Riverflame laughed, nodding to the excited balls of fur by the nursery. "If I remember correctly, they're being made apprentices today."
"Really?" Daywing mewed, watching the kits with amusement. "They're so energetic. I feel sorry for the warrior who has to mentor them."
"Maybe it'll be you," the spotted she-cat teased, butting her friend's shoulder playfully.
"I sure hope not! You know me; happy, but no patience!"

Jadeflower walked up.
"I doubt that I'll get an apprentice. Lightfoot will though. I'm sure of it."
A smell hit her nostrils, and her eyes watered. She sneezed.
"Phew! Who's been eating garlic?!"

Dawnpaw followed her mentor out of the Medicine den. She had not gotten much sleep, Mistpaw and Snowstorm still had there crazy fever. She sat next to her mentor waiting for it to be all over soon. She needed to sleep, but first needed Mistpaw and Snowstorm to recover. She sighed. "Whats going on?" she asked her mentor.

"who knows? We've been so busy that we haven't taken in notice of the news travelling around the clan"Creamtail said with a slight yawn. "But I think it's albout the kits who are becoming apprentices"

Rivertail stalked, to see many warriors mewing in confusion, some were talking about the new apprentices. Rivertail looked around, his apprentcie, Mistpaw was not here. He sniffed the air around him, her scent was not among the others either. Worried Rivertail trotted around the edge of the camp, smelling everywhere, but not catching any scent that belonged to Mistpaw, then someone called to him, "Rivertail!" He whirled his head, and saw Mistpaw soaking wet, coming from the dierection of the river. He quickly trotted over, and mewed, "What happened to you?"

Mistpaw trotted toward the Riverclan camp, she had just heard that there was a meeting of some kind. She trotted into the camp, Rivertail, her mentor, quickly jogging to her side, "What happened to you?" He mewed worridly. Mistpaw laughed, "Nothing, I went for a swim, that's all. I tried to catch some fish, but....not much luck." She looked around her, trying the listen and figure out what was going on.

Rainfall was walking towards the center of the camp, and sat next to Rivertail. "What is this going to be about?" She asked Rivertail.
Badgerpaw came trotting out of the apprentice's den to hear what the leader had to say. 'What could this be about, he thought.

Rivertail looked at Rainfall, "I'm not exactly sure, so don't take my word for it, but I think the kits are going to be made apprentices." He scanned around the camp, not quite sure what to think.

Mistpaw looked toward Badgerpaw, her insides quivered at the sight of him, and she trotted over, "Hey, Badgerpaw." She smiled at him, her whiskers twitching.

"That could be it." Rainfall said as she was looking for kits. I wonder who will be their mentors, She thought. Although she knew that it wasn't going to be her, or even that might not be the reason for this meeting.
"Hi Mistpaw. Is their something wrong with your whiskers?" Badgerpaw mewed. I hope there isn't any thing wrong with her. The tome thought.

Rivertail laughed, "I would take on an apprentice, but I already have Mistpaw. And she is a handfall." He looked at his dear apprentice fondly. "Rainfall, don't you ever want an apprentice?" How could she not, they were so much fun, and very curious.

Mistpaw held herself still, "No, t-there is nothing wrong with my whiskers." She mewed, Badgerpaw was going to figure out she liked him, sooner or later. She was so upset that she couldn't get a grip and control herself around him.

"Ya, I would want one sooner or later, but I was an apprentice myself not to long ago." She meowed.
"Good." Badgerpaw mewed. He didn't want any cat to have something wrong with them, for he didn't want any one to tease a cat about their problems.

Swiftshadow trotted over to where Rivertail and Rainfall were socializing. "Hi, everyone." He mewed. "Do you guys know what this meeting is about?" Swiftshadow's bright, amber eyes were gleaming with curiosity.

Rivertail looked at Swiftshadow, "I'm just guessing from what I've heard from other cats."
He looked back at Mistpaw, talking to Badgerpaw, Rivertail smiled to himself, only he knew her feelings toward him.

OOC: By the way, I don't even have a mentor. Well At least I don't think I do.
"Its going good. Just yesterday, we worked on fighting skills. How is your training going?" Badgerpaw said, before he started to brag.

Rivertail looked at Lightstar, "I think he's waiting for all of the cats." Rivertail looked around him, where were they?

Tinyfang made her way to sit next to Blazefang, for this happy meeting. It seemed that every cat was talking about the soon-to-be apprentices, so it was indeed a happy moment for some. As she sat down, her thoughts was clouded by the strong smell of garlic.
Turning to Blazefang she mewed softly, "Have you been eating garlic? "

Swiftshadow saw Tinyfang and walked over to her. "Hi Tinyfang. How are-" Swiftshadow paused in the middle of his scentence and said, "Phew. I smell a LOT of garlic. Has someone been eating garlic?" He asked. Either that or someone's been rolling in it. I can't imagine why though..... Swiftshadow wondered.
