"That's right!" Silentbreeze mewed. "In new-leaf there's plenty of fish in the river. So much that you'll gain the weight you lost in leaf-bare." she giggled. She looked at the thinning snow around her and scrapped some of it away with her paw. It revealed some brown grass.

Silentbreeze's giggle grew as Emberpaw started to laugh too. Before she knew it she was on the ground not being able to stop. She hadn't laughed in a while, so every time she ended up laughing she got out of control..

No matter what she did, Silentbreeze's laughter could not be controlled. She loved and hated when this happened.

Emberpaw couldn't stop laughing. She squirmed in the grass, her feet kicking in the air.

Silentbreeze still couldn't stop the laughter from coming. She was laying in the snowy grass next to Emberpaw. She set her pale yellow gaze on the sky. It was a mixture of blue and gray, if that was even possible.
Some how her laughter faded, and she found herself just, pondering. About StarClan, how long it would take for the river to melt. And... And where Flamefur was right now.

"You haven't even seen it yet. It doesn't compare to what cats can describe, especially from what we've seen this leaf-bare." Silentbreeze mewed. A pang of sorrow hit her, like a monster coming in contact with a cat on the Thunderpath. This leaf-bare had been the hardest the she-cat had ever been through. Not just for the obvious reasons like the lac of prey and the horrible whether. No, none of the. What made her leaf-bare so much more worse than anyone else's leaf-bare was that, she had lost Flamefur. Although it was earlier in leaf-bare that it happened, it still hurt to think about what ThunderClan had done to her.
If I could ever get my claws on them for what they did! the orange tabby viciously thought, unsheathing her claws into the soft snow.
