Loner

[Swimfast]

Blizzard was sursprised that this, Rivertail cat was giving such a fight. Usaully a small clan cat was no problem for Blizzard. He ran to where the cat landed, and stabbed his claws into his neck, and ripped, tearing a large gash in his neck. Blizzard then bent his head over the cat's face, and bit through his ear, then shoved the cat away, "I don't want to kill you, so leave me alone." He growled sharply, his eyes glowing fiercely. Then he looked behind him to see a small apprentcie running toward him, the Rivertail cat screamed, "Mistpaw no! Stay away!" But the apprentice kept coming.

Blizzard laughed, an apprentcie, seriously? He waiting until it was within a leg's length, then slashed, making a huge cut across it's chest, it mewed in pain, but jumped at him, and dug it's claws into the side of his face, he hissed, and swung his heavy paw at the apprentice, and sent her flying. She landed hard, a ear splitting crack filled the air. She did not move, but her sides were moving, she was still alive.

Rivertail cried out as long sharp claws tore into his flesh, blood pouring out of the wound. She looked into the glowing eyes of the loner. Suddenly he felt part of his ear being ripped away. Rivertail ground his teeth in pain, then we was kicked away. "I don't want to kill you, so leave me alone." He growled. Then Rivertail saw Mistpaw, his apprentice running at him, "Mistpaw no! Stay away!" She wouldn't last against thiis ruthless cat. But she kept running. Rivertail watched the scene in horror. As the loner gashed her chest, and she attacked back, and then he sent her flying, his ears twitched as a crack split the air. Mistpaw, hang in there, he thought to himself. Then the loner started to walk toward Mistpaw, he growled, and pushed himself up, going to her rescue.

Mistpaw watched shocked, as Rivertail her mentor was tossed through the air, no, she thought. Then ran to him, ignoring his warning. She lunged at the large loner, afraid, but she was going to be brave. She mewed in pain, as his long claws cut open her chest, angry now, she shoved her claws into the side of his face as hard as she could. Then he slammed his paw into the side of her neck, and sent her flying. She couldn't scream because the wind had been knocked out of her, she gasped for air. Then landed with a crack on the hard ground. Pain splitting her side, she squeezed her eyes shut, her whole body trembling, she must have broken a rib.Mistpaw couldn't get up, her breaths came in short, raspy gasps.

Rainfall ran back to the fight seen, "Blizzard stop fighting, and just leave. Besides your point here is not going to be heard." She was so mad at this cat, Why is he doing this if he doesn't want to kill any one. She thought about that for a long time, than said "If you don't stop hurting these cat, I will have to fight you myself, and one of us is going to go to Starclan." She knew that she would be the one to go to Starclan, but if it helped the clan, than she was all for it.

[~Spring~]

Oh, no. This is'nt good. Swiftshadow's friends were getting torn apart by this insane loner. Got to..... get.... up.... Swiftshadow thought, and with great pain, he stood up. The small, agile tom was hurt, but felt a powerful drive to continue on despite his injuries.

Swiftshadow watched for a few seconds and then he broke into a sprint and lept on top of Blizzard, claws digging into his back. He used the full force of his body to try and push Blizzard to the ground. When he realized he wasn't quite strong enough, Swiftshadow jumped off of the loner and sprinted up a tree, where hopefully he could rest for a few seconds and wait for the right opportunity to strike again. Swiftshadow noticed Rainfall and stopped. "Rainfall, please don't fight him! I feel a little better now." He mewed to Rainfall from up the tree. It was a lie that he felt better, but he couldn't let Rainfall get hurt.

[Crowy]

Musefaith let out a blood-curdling yowl, and flew at Blizzard, blood trickling from her wounds. She spat at Blizzard as she tore at his flank, and bit down upon his back. This calico was NOT happy; No way was this cat going off with one of her clan! Her kin! One of the old cats friends! Musefaith yowled again, leaping off Blizzard and unleashing her claws at his face. Boy, she hadn't fought like this for aaaages.

"I don't want a monster killing all of my clan mates, and since this is my fault, this is my battle to fight." Rainfall wasn't really sure what she was saying, but it sounded okay. She hates seeing cats die over nothing, or no reason at all. But I get why they are fighting a bigger cat than they can handle.

[Swimfast]

Blizzard turned away from the apprentice, and looked at Rainfall, "I will stop fighting these cats if you come with me. I already told you, I'm not leaving without you. And I will not hurt you. Let alone, fight you." He looked back at the appentice, her sides were heaving, and a scratchy rasping sound was coming from her mouth. Blood from her wound soaked her chest. Blizzard felt sorry for her, she was only an apprentice. Blizzard was beginning to calm, and looked at Rainfall. No more blood needed to be shed.

Rivertail stopped in his tracks, at Rainfall's word, if she fought him, she would surely loose. But, would Blizzard fight her? Her slowly made his way toward the loner, giving him a chance to talk, and work things out, but ready to attack if he went for another cat.

Mistpaw listened, she opened her eyes, and looked at the cats, she saw Rivertail coming toward her, hopefully to help her. She needed Creamtail, right now. Her vision was slightly blurry from the blood loss, and her side pinched every time she took a breath, causing a sharp pain the split up her side. Starclan help me, she thought.

[~Spring~]

Swiftshadow jumped down from his perch on a low tree branch, but he didn't go over to Blizzard. His attention was directed towards Mistpaw. He sprinted over to her and picked her up, whispering, "Don't worry. You are not going to Starclan yet, on my watch." He then turned back to everyone else, saying, "I am going back to camp to help Mistpaw."

"For the last time, I am not going with you. My clan is my life, and I would never leave them. So either leave, or fight me." Rainfall snapped. Than she looked at Swiftshadow, "That's a good idea. And I already called her, so she should be on her way." She mewed, but than looked back at Blizzard.

[Swimfast]

Blizzard jumped toward Swiftshadow and the apprentice, clamping his powerful jaws around her paw, and pulling. He decided no more harm should be done to the poor apprentice, and he turned toward the other cats. He saw the Rivertail cat carefully coming toward him. Blizzard ran at him, and dug his claws into his shoulders, Rivertail slashed at Blizzards leg, a small tear ripped his skin. He sunk his teeth into the cat's neck, and pulled, then pushed the cat away. He saw the calico, and growled, pulling her to the ground, ground, he bit hard into her leg, then shoved his paw into her neck, and ripped, blood trickling from her wound. Blizzard was going to stop fighting, but these clan cats never gave up. And that would cost them. He turned and with his back leg, kicked the cat. then faced the others, ready for anything.

Mistpaw felt teeth sink into her leg, and she mewed in pain, then she was pulled to the ground, "Swiftshadow help!" She faintly mewed, her voice shaking, and her side was pounding.

Rivertail saw Blizzard coming toward him, he struck with his claws, and tore a rip into his leg, but it wasn't deep, it did not bleed. Then the loners claws were in him, he yelped in pain, and managed to push him off of him, but then he dug his teeth into his neck, and pulled, Rivertail ignored the pain, and hit the cat with his paw as hard as he could, but the loner was already running the other way.

[Crowy]

"Leave our territory or I will make you!" Musefaith roared, her large calico shape standing over Mistpaw. "Rainfall belongs in the clan. You... You belong where you came from!" She hissed, ignoring the blood dripping from her neck. She wasn't going to let this tom get away without teaching him a lesson first. Letting out another roar, she pushed off the ground, leaping into the air, and landing smack-bang upon Blizzard's back, and she bit down onto his left ear, ripping it from his head. Musefaith scratched at the top of the tom's head, before leaping off again, ready to fight to the death if need be.

[~Spring~]

Swiftshadow watched in horror as the monsturous, insane loner clamped onto Mistpaw's leg. This cat.... is going to pay.... Swiftshdaow thought. He dashed over and set Mistpaw down under a shady tree. He looked at Mistpaw and mewed "I will be right back. I am going to go hurt that wild loner, but I won't let you out of my sight." He then turned back to Blizzard, eyes blazing with fury. He had so much to fight for...... His clan...... Himself..... That poor apprentice, especially. And Rainfall. He dashed over to Blizzard, harder and faster than he had ever ran before. He slammed into the loner's side and sunk his teeth into his leg, clamping down hard. He then stepped back, waiting for a possible counter attack.

Rainfall was right behind Blizzard, so she ran and jumped on his back. She unleashed her claws and slashed his in the back. Maybe that will make him think twice before fighting hurting my clan mates. She thought, but than dug her teeth into his shoulder.

[Swimfast]

Blizzard felt Swiftshadow slam into him, he looked at the cat, and hissed, swiping his claws across his side, leaving gashes, then her kicked him away as hard as he could, hearing the wind being knocked out of him. Then he turned to the calico, and saw his ear laying on the ground, she was now so angry, he couldn't control himself, he ran at the other cat, and sunk his teeth into it's side, and ripped, pulling off a chunk of flesh. He spit it out, and smashed his paw against the side of it's head, then stomped as hard as he could on it's neck. He left a cat on his back, Rainfall. How could she? He through her off of his back, lightly, and stood over her, all anger draining away at her sigh, "Rainfall, don't. I will not fight you. Don't get yourself involved." Then he saw Rivertail coming at him, he swung, and missed. The warrior bit his chest hard, Blizzard laughed, these cats had no idea how much pain he had once been through. These animals fought like kittypets.

Rivertail ran at the loner, and dodged his flying paw, barely. Then forced his teeth into his hard flesh, barely making a hole. Rivertail was beginning to think that this creature wasn't a cat. Rivertail glanced to his right, and saw Mistpaw, struggling, he ran toward her, "Mistpaw, Mistpaw listen to me. Hang on, I won't let you leave me. Don' slip. I'm here now, your going to be okay." He carefully licked her deep chest wound.

Mistpaw watched the fighting, she couldn't stand it anymore. She closed her eyes, and focused on breathing. Her side pinching her, cutting off her air with every breath she took. She heard Rivertail's voice, but couldn't make out the words. Don't let yourself slip away, she thought to herself, be brave, and hang on.

[Crowy]

Musefaith yowled when Blizzard tore out her fur. She snarled and smacked him in the back of the head. "Will you not LISTEN?!" She yowled. "Rainfall wishes to live in her clan! She doesn't want you!" The she-cat snarled. This Blizzard was not going to get off easy. "Rainfall knows it's against the Warrior Code to love a cat not in her own clan!" Musefaith let out another yowl. "If you want her to be happy you'll leave her ALONE!"

Rainfall kept on fighting Blizzard, "I will stop, when you say that you are going to leave, and than you do leave." She said while taring fur off his back.

[Swimfast]

The calico's words struck Blizzard like lightning. His fighting sprit slipped away, and he collapsed, panting. Shocked. His eyes wide, he lay frozen on the ground, no more fighting he thought to himself, no more fighting. He did love Rainfall, he did....he did....

But now, he was frozen, by words. That were more painful then any of his wounds. He didn't care about any of the cats now, and he saw nothing, but blankness. His mind was blank. Exept for one thing, Rainfall....Rainfall.

Rivertail watched the loner fall, and freeze. What was going on. He looked at Musefaith, "What happened!?" Rivertail glanced at Mistpaw, he had to get her help before he did anything else. She before he could get an answer, he turned his attention to her. He licked her chest wound, then murmured, "Keep breathing. I'm taking you to get help now. But you have to keep breathing." He gentally picked her up, she twitched, probably in pain, and began to carry her to Creamtail.

Mistpaw felt the atmosphere change. And then gental teeth were holding her, carrying her, her side throbbed, and she twitched, gritting her teeth, her sides shaking, as pain clutched her. She was still holding on.

[~Spring~]

Swiftshadow nodded ever so slightly, without any expression on his face. His wounds weren't bugging him much anymore, and he quickly caught his breath back. He stepped a bit closer to everyone else and sat down. The wounds at his side, neck, and shoulders weren't as bad as he thought. This cat really is not that tough. I just over-reacted. He thought. He then remembered Blizzard. Please, just leave our clan. You have done enough damage as is. He thought. Still, Swiftshadow felt a bit of pity for Blizzard. He obviously liked Rainfall. A lot. It must be hard loving someone who didn't love you back as much. Swiftshadow thought.

[Swimfast]

Blizzard unfroze, still stunned, looked at Rainfall, but he was talking to all of the cats, "Then, what has this come to. Are you crazy clan cats going to stop fighting. Have you learned your lesson?" Then he looked sadly at Rainfall, "Rainfall. What is it that want. I will do, as you say." He smiled, despite what was going on, "Depending on what you ask."

Rivertail trotted into the medicene cat's den with Mistpaw, and laid her on the soft leaves, "Stay here, and rest, dear apprentice." He looked at her, hoping to Starclan that Creamtail would soon be able to help her. Then she trotted back outside to listen.

Mistpaw watched Rivertail go back outside, and listened, straining herself to hear what was going on. Holding her breath, her sides still shaking, she wished for Creamtail.

[~Spring~]

Swiftshadow let out a small sigh. Finally, peace. He thought. "And you can't critisize us for attacking, you attacked first...." Swiftshadow said under his breath so no one else could hear him. He sat and watched everyone else, wondering what could possibly happen next. We have already fought and injured eachother. What more could possibly happen? Swiftshadow thought.

[Tyler-182]

A soft rustiling sounded from the brush of which may of the RiverClan cats had been pouring out of like rats. From beneath the shrubs stepped forward a massive well-built tom, Sparta. The tom wasted no time as he charged towards the River cats and swiped a furious paw to any who came near Blizzard.

The loner had heard the sounds on his way home from ShadowClan camp, Fearing it was an unfair fight he had come forth to help the underdog, er, cat.

Wasting no time the tom then turned to fold back his muzzle showing ivory teeth that he sunk into the flesh of Blizzard he began pulling fiercely away from the other cats. Muttering from beneath the coat of fur he spoke.

"Keep quiet you moronic fool, There will be another time for your unwise love but for now simply keep your pelt."

The feline showed no mercy, hoping to fool the RiverClan cats into believing that he was a stray, a battle-hardened stay who was simply dying for a good meal. As he pulled harder his teeth pierced through the flesh, tearing the skin and allowing blood to flow into Sparta's mouth. It tasted awful yet he couldn't risk showing any sign of weakness yet. He continued to pull the opposing tom many, many yards until they reached ShadowClan territory in which case Sparta dropped the loner and smacked a sheathed paw across his facial structure.

"Are you insane!? You try another bold move like that and I may not be around to get your filthy hide out of it. Now get out of here before SilentStripe finds out I brought another loner on his territory, He would rip us both to shreds."

His eyes glaring into Blizzards he pushed the tom with him paws on the tail to get the feline running, "Go to two-leg farm, you can stay with me until you are able to be out on your own without getting yourself killed."

With that the loner stood motionless listening to the woods, making sure no RiverCats had followed him and seen his true kindness.
