Loner

Blizzard pushed himself up, and sat, he didn't dare look into the others cats eyes, "I am sorry. I'm afriad this whole thing has gone too far. Now if you hostile cats can control yourself!" He hissed at the calico cat. "Then I would like to talk to Rainfall."

Rivertail watched the loner closely, "Rainfall, don't. Just stay where you are, you don't have to do anything you don't want to." He growled at the loner, "No you can leave. We're giving you a chance. Take it."

Mistpaw lay in the medicene cat den, Creamtail had still not arrived. She was in horrible pain. She tried to call out, "Help.." Biut her voice cracked, and she feared no one would hear her.

Blizzard mewed in pain as he was pulled from the Riverclan camp, "What are you doing! I can't just leave! Rainfall is still in there....." Blizzard shook his head, get a grip, he thought to himself. Run, before they tear the fur off your face, he looked at the other loner, "What about you? They will come after you, you know." He glanced back at the camp.

Rainfall jumped off Blizzards back, and now he wanted to talk. "Just leave, I have been saying that for forever. And I don't want to talk to you." She snapped. Than she looked at Mistpaw, "Swiftshadow and Rivertail, go get some help for mistpaw." She wanted every cat to be healthy,

[Swimfast]

Blizzard heard a ruffle behind him, and looked back one more time, then hissed under his breath, "That she-cat may not even be worth it." He looked up at the loner, "Thank you. I'm very greatfull. You really should go now, they'll probably chase me, and you." With that being said, he turned and jumped into a full sprint, not knowing where he was headed. Then he thought, Rainfall really would be worth it, but he knew better then to risk his life for her. Especially after the way she had just treated him. Blizzard sighed, and kept running, not even feeling the pain from his wounds.

Rivertail looked at Rainfall, "Mistpaw is in really bad condition. We need Creamtail now. Or someone who can help her. You should go see her, she's still worried about us, I think." Rivertail looked at the ground as he silently trotted toward the nursery, and entered, "Mistpaw, are you okay?" He whispered, then he saw movement, he sighed in relief, she was still alive. Then she moaned, "Ugh, Rivertail, it hurts. I need help.." Rivertail softly nuzzled her side, "I know, I know. We're working on finding help, your going to be okay." He hoped.

Mistpaw opend her eyes just enought to see Rivertail enter, and she groaned, in pain, "Ugh...Rivertail, it hurts, I need help." He replied, but she was too close to unconscienous to understand his jumble of words. She laid moved her head, and felt a nuzzle in her side, she sighed, he was so warm, and she was so.....cold. She tried to move closer to him, but the pain in her side held her back. Mistpaw relaxed herself again, and continued to hold onto her life, waiting for the promised help.

Rainfall was glad that that was over. She started to run to the medicine den, where is Creamtail? She thought.

Blizzard grunted as he ran, he couldn't feel his wounds, but he knew they were there, and that some of them were not too good. His vision was starting to blur, but he kept running, he couldn't collapse so close to the Riverclan camp, they would be able to find him too easily. He had no clue where he was going. And his head was now throbbing, but he was a loner, not a small, weak, clan cat, he wasn't going to let some simple wounds bother him.

Rivertail was watching Mistpaw, pained, as she grimaced with ever breath that she took. She needed help, now, she couldn't wait. Rivertail stuck his head outside of the den, and yelled, "If anyone knows anything about herbs, I need help, I don't think Mistpaw can wait for Creamtail!" He looked at her, then at the herbs, and plants, he had some knowledge if them, but now much, and he didn't even know what was wrong with Mistpaw. He glanced at her, he felt useless, there was nothing he could do while she laid there, hanging onto her life, but the tips of her claws.

Mistpaw tried to steady her breathing, but it didn't work, she needed the air, she was sufficating herself, but it she breathed too much, her side splintered into horrible pain, that was hard to bare. She felt everything slowly slipping away, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't hold on. She took another breath, then everything fell, and she tumbled into darkness, that came down on her, and held her. Mistpaw had lost the battle.

OOC: She is not dead, she's still alive.

[~Spring~]

Swiftshadow ran over to Mistpaw, anxiously thinking, Come on, we need help! She dosen't have much time left! Swiftshadow noticed that Mistpaw was trying to steady her breathing and thought, Come on Mistpaw, pull through! He could see that Mistpaw's life was slipping away, and Swiftshadow held his head low whispering to the apprentice, "Please, please, please, pull through. Come on Mistpaw, fight the pain."

Swiftshadow was still right by Mistpaw's side when he remembered who had caused this. That dirty rougue...... Next time I see him, He will join Starclan. I don't care how much bigger he is. I WILL fight him and I WILL win...... He had better not come back into RiverClan territory. Swiftshadow was distraced by a small figure darting in the bushes, and ran after it. He realized It was a mouse, and pounced, effortlessly killing it. He layed it down by Mistpaw's side, after thanking StarClan for it's life. "Here, this is for when you feel better. I will save it for you." He whispered.

[Swimfast]

Rivertail sadly looked at his apprentice, "Don't you know anything about healing!? You can't help her in any way!?" Rivertail felt tears coming to his eyes, as he watched his poor, dear apprentice, "Hold on." He murmured, his voice trembling.

Mistpaw was being held down by darkness, she was pinned, and pain had her siezed. She knew she wasn't dead, but she felt out of it. Gone, like nothing could lift her up. But she knew, Rivertail would pull her through, he always had. She trusted him. With her life.

[~Spring~]

A few tears flowed down from Swiftshadow's face in unision with the blood slowly dripping from his shoulders. He looked down at the apprentice who was in worse shape than anyone else. Come on Mistpaw...... You have to live..... He thought. I can't take it anymore...... That insane loner brought with him despair and pain. For his safety, I had better not see his face ever again. He stopped and cringed. I wish I knew something about healing... Swfitshadow could do nothing but offer comfort, and it was tearing him apart.

Creamtail sprinted to their location as fast as possible, "What's the matter?"she asked, "She had Dawnpaw wait back at camp so when she found out what was wrong, a warrior could sprint back and tell her, so she could gather herbs and come here.

[Swimfast]

Rivertail sighed in relief as Creamtail entered the den, "Thank Starclan your here. Mistpaw has been inured terribly injured. I-I don't know if she's going to make it." A tear slowly slipped down his face, "She was inured by the loner who attacked. She was just defending me, I should have stopped her..." Rivertail looked away, and let Creamtail go to work.

Mistpaw was breathing evenly now, and the pain in her side was slowly ebbing away. She thought she was dead, but the only thing that kept reminding her that she was still among the living, was the constand murmurings, and rasp that came with every breath she took.

"Have you lost any blood?"She asked "Blood loss and injuries could be fatal but it'll be ok, judging by the injury, it'll be ok"She spotted Rivertail who came up to them, "Rivertail, could you please get Dawnpaw and tell her we need herbs for treating Blood loss, Something to help her regain energy, and possibly some cobwebs? And can you get her something to eat?"

[Swimfast]

Rivertail nodded, listening to the directions carefully, then he glanced at Mistpaw, "Oh, and she tossed a pretty good distance, and I heard a crack when she landed on her side. She may have cracked for broken something, you may want to take a look at that." He looked fondly at Mistpaw, then took a deep breath, and trotted out of the den, searching frantically for Dawnpaw, he called out, "Dawnpaw! Dawnpaw, you needed immediately in the medicine cat den.!" He sniffed the air, trying to catch her scent, she was no where.

Mistpaw concentrated on breathing, ignoring the sharp pain in her side, she knew that if she kept herself breathing, she would live, and everything would be okay, she hoped. The darkness was pressing on her, holding her, she couldn't break free, she was senseless, and alone. But in her mind she kept her clan mates, knowing that they were trying to help her, and they were close to her, sitting with her. This comforted her, and she relaxed, trusting Rivertail, and her other clan mates, to bring her back from this horrible place of darkness.
